FelieParticipant
I’d like to see Emma having to deal with yet ANOTHER seemingly impossible thing being thrown at her (i.e. the Whoniverse).
But I think they’d most likely go for;
1) Christopher Eccleston – Red, Neal, Jefferson <b style=”color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22.3999996185303px; background-color: rgb(249, 249, 249);”>
2) David Tennant – Anna, Mulan, Alice & Cyrus,
3) Matt Smith – Anna, Tink, young Zelena
4) Peter Capaldi – Belle, Elsa, Will & Ana
The one I’d like to see them deal with though is Regina! Couldn’t you just picture them trying to do Doctory things with her as their companion XD

"there’s lesbians in it"FelieParticipantAs we speak….Oncers on Twitter are fighting hard for @TheAnnaFaith to be cast as our Elsa!
And I think I’ve joined the #Anna4OnceElsa Support Group….the girl practically lives the part. She even does free shows for kids, and elderly people as Elsa. This girl is practically our best option.
Even EOnline agrees…. http://www.eonline.com/news/550568/this-girl-looks-exactly-like-elsa-from-frozen
She’s gorgeous no doubt, but they ideally need to cast a woman in her mid-late 20s, or late 20s early 30s, depending on what time-frame they’re using.
If she was put into the pot just after the point coinciding with the end of the movie then she’d need to be in her early 20s, but 18 is too young to pull off Elsa imo.

It may give newcomers to this thread some background on the whole Queer-Elsa thing;
Mulora was so minuscule it was almost an insult. It was like they were just throwing the LGBTQ fans a bone, as a way to say ‘here, have this and shut up!’. It went nowhere and was consequently nothing.
As for Elsa… she’s more a gay-icon than an icon who is gay. Of course we don’t know for sure but the ambiguity and lack of development surrounding Elsa has allowed fans to craft Elsa into their own character. Her story mimics, almost perfectly, the struggle most LGBTQ people have to go through when coming out of the closet. THAT’S why we’ve sort of ‘hijacked’ her, and claimed her as ‘one of us’.

Thirdly, taking it as seriously as Outlaw Queen and Regina….uhhh….yeah I’m just going to choose not to respond to that at all. But then again… if something isn’t going the way I like it, then thank God for fanfiction, where anything can happen. #What’sCanonIsCanon
Can I just ask what you mean by the first part of this statement? Since I know you are a true OQ and Regina fan, your statement kind of sounds like you’re saying Queer-Elsa fans don’t have a place to feel as passionately about our shippyness as you do for yours. Forgive me if I’m reading it wrong though.
Also, on the second part of this quote you mention that if something isn’t going the way you like then you can just go to fanfiction sites for your fix. Now, imagine that the ONLY place you could go to get your het-relationship fix was on fanfiction sites – this is the reality of LGBTQ people every day.
Unfortunately, often the only place we can get queer relationships ‘on’ our favourite shows is to read another queer fan’s fiction. And I don’t think you realise what a privilege it is to get to dismiss these issues with things like #What’sCanonIsCanon, when the VAST MAJORITY of romantic relationships in media are heterosexual. You don’t have to fight for representation, you don’t have your hopes dashed all the time when writers subtly hint at a het relationship only for it to turn out non-canon (Mulora), you don’t see het relationships used en mass to drum-up controversy in order to bring in viewers, you don’t see het characters as being defined solely by their sexual orientation, you don’t see het relationships being used as eye-candy (as with a lot of on-screen lesbian romances), you don’t have to worry about one of your fave characters being killed off because the novelty of their sexuality has worn off with the viewers (has happened a few times on some shows I’ve seen where they’ve introduced lesbian characters), etc. Honestly the list goes on and on, and sometimes it can get a little depressing.
It is a privilege to see one of your fave ships not come true and be able to shrug it off because pretty much all the other shows you watch do canonise your ships (or second fave ships). When a queer character goes without there is no ‘oh well, at least Tracy is with Mary on that other show I like…’. We, the queer fandom, get whatever dregs they decide to give us IF they decide to give us anything at all. We used to accept this, but now we are a lot more vocal.
Sorry if this is very long winded, I’m just really passionate about the state of LGBTQ media representation, and the frequent bad treatment of LGBTQ characters whenever they do decide to grant us one.

"there’s lesbians in it"FelieParticipantAnd as LGBT….Adam and Eddy gave the Oncersl Mulan. Though I do wonder what really happened between her and Aurora, and why Aurora chose Phillip??? Yes…a tiny part of me ships Mulora…If I didn’t ship #Jelsa(one of the Elsa Fans most beloved Elsa shippings to date) so hard, I could probably see it. Though I never understood why LGBT claimed Elsa as a lesbian…like I just never saw that in her, so where did that come from? Anyone care to explain that to me…it’d really help.

"there’s lesbians in it"FelieParticipantOKAY! MY FAVORITE ELSA CASTING PICK OPTION IS NINA DOBREV!!!!!!
AND CHRIS PINE FOR JACK FROST!!!
#Jelsa For Season 4!!!
Hmm… never heard of NINA DOBREV(!!!!!!) before, but she didn’t look like the girl in your picture when I googled her (I actually thought it was a pic of a younger Sarah Michelle Gellar when I first saw it).
Jack Frost in folklore is depicted as an old man, so I don’t know how well the actor in your post would go with the role. They could, of course, decide to do a younger version like the one from Guardians, but that might bring up some copyright issues… idk an awful lot about these things tbh.
Even though on the surface Elsa and JF look like they’d go well together I still hope that the ouat writers either make Elsa a lesbian or don’t give her a love interest at all. Ouat is full to bursting point with het couples, can’t we just have one queer couple now? Please (we’re 4 seasons in now)? I’m starting to feel completely unappreciated as a queer fan, which sucks so much considering that the people who make (own?) ouat have a reputation of being really LGBTQ friendly.

"there’s lesbians in it"June 8, 2014 at 2:30 pm in reply to: Out in Storybrooke: Who should have a Queery Tale romance? #272865FelieParticipantI don’t think the entire EF would have to have homophobic views. Just Arendelle. That way Anna is going against the traditional views of just her people, but the SB/EF folk are more welcoming. It all leads up to “this is where we truly belong” sort of storyline.
Yeah I suppose it could be just a few select sections of their world. On the other hand, the sense of acceptance in her storyline won’t be as potent if the realms of the characters we know aren’t anti-gay, because who would really care about the views/traditions of some random kingdom 4 seasons into the show (which, like Oz, we will probably barely get to know)?
Another way to do it is to have Arendelle be the only kingdom in their world not to be homophobic, and have the queer queen create conflict between her land and others, as opposed to having an internal conflict in her own kingdom over it. Perhaps the heat on Elsa (intended :D) will come from a pressure to conform to international standards rather than the views of her own people, and Anna could be the only one in her court telling her to be true to herself and not buckle to the pressure.
