I want her to be connected to Merida romantically, but doubt that’ll ever happen 🙁
Obviously she will have some bone to pick with Rumple, and perhaps Regina too, if Anna didn’t survive her rule/curse. I don’t think she’ll be blood-connected to anyone other than Anna, unless they do flashbacks to her parents. Oh! Perhaps her parents were the ones who made a deal with Rumple to lock her away. Thing is, what did they give him in return… Anna? Twisty-twist time! In any case, I hope they at least make it more interesting than Zelena’s connections to the established characters; another blood-tie? Yawn. Another one of Rumples students? Yawn. An ‘I want to have what you’ve always had’ plot? Yawn.
Make it unique this time Mr Writers. I want to see things we’ve never seen on any show ever before, and make it good.
Surprise meh!!!

"there’s lesbians in it"FelieParticipantNatalie Dormer for Elsa. There is no one else.
I’ve got to be honest, I’ve never seen her in anything before. She sure looks the part though 🙂

"there’s lesbians in it"May 21, 2014 at 11:56 am in reply to: Out in Storybrooke: Who should have a Queery Tale romance? #270799FelieParticipantI told TheWatcher this tale and she told me to post it here, so I did! 😀
I had a weird ouat dream the other night, where Elsa went on a rampage after finding out that her love, Merida, used to be in Storybrooke, and her torment was being trapped in a loveless marriage with an abusive husband, until she took her own life. I woke up crying as I switched from being a spectator of my dream to playing the part of Elsa. It was so sad, she was devastated and heartbroken. She blamed Regina more than the abusive husband because his torment, as a gay man, was to be trapped in a heterosexual marriage too (not that that excuses him in my mind, but Elsa seemed ok with letting him get away with it). I think Blue was trying to tell Elsa something but I woke up too soon. So lying awake I thought that perhaps Merida was alive, and was living in the convent after faking her death to try and escape her husband.
I would love it if this were to happen in ouat, it simply oozes angst! It definitely made me cry :'(
Felie, thats a really interesting idea
I agree, that would be a very interesting scenario for the show Felie. If it doesn’t happen, there needs to be a fanfiction about it.
I agree that would be an interesting scenario
That’s a much stronger issue and more important issue than an acceptance storyline
If you think about it it’s a win-win for the neighbouring kingdom(s) who gets to breed with the queen(s);
Say kingdom A had two queens and queen 1 had a child with a prince from kingdom B, and queen 2 had a child with a prince from kingdom C. Then the princes B and C married princesses from kingdoms D and E. That’s five kingdoms who are allied by blood now, and in the end the offspring of one of the princes’ will rule AL LEAST two kingdoms (if all goes well)! Happy days all round, especially for kingdoms who’s royal family only have one male heir and no daughters, since he can rule his kingdom with his family AND have his offspring guaranteed to rule another one (again, if all goes well). It’s kind of like when princesses are sent to marry the sons of neighbouring kings to create alliances (How much more complicated would it be if we added this little gem of alliance-making to the mix? XD), It could be used as a way to create blood-ties with other kingdoms. And suddenly homosexuality seems a lot more appealing to royal families in FTL…

"there’s lesbians in it"May 21, 2014 at 5:24 am in reply to: Out in Storybrooke: Who should have a Queery Tale romance? #270751FelieParticipantPerhaps it would make more sense for FTL to have its own unique issues surrounding LGBT relationships. For example, they accept LGBT people and relationships, but things could get a little tricky if two princesses get together, marry, and rule a kingdom together, because then they’d have suitors from all over the world trying to win the right to be their baby-daddy. What would the procedure be for this? Would the child be considered a bastard? Would they need a different kind of ‘marriage’ ceremony to make it so that the child wasn’t considered a bastard by the people?
Also, there’s an opportunity for a bit of comedy here, like the girls getting jealous of the stunning new girl when she’s around their men, only to be flirty with her once they find out she’s gay (happens to me… only without the stunning part :/)

"there’s lesbians in it"FelieParticipantI think Sofia Vergara would make a great older version of Megara, or Esmarelda. Plus, she’s hawt.
Emma Watson as Elsa.

"there’s lesbians in it"FelieParticipantFor Jasmine, Idina Menzel
She looks the part in the picture, but she often comes across as a professional woman in her on-screen roles, I’m not too sure she’d be able to pull off a rebellious Arab woman. Who would you get to play Aladin?
I vote Odette Annable and Stephen Amell for the roles of Esmeralda and Phoebus!
They’ll be perfect!
She definitely has that sultry look about her, and she looks like Esmarelda a little too. He’s gorgeous but I’ve never seen him in anything before, could he play a guy who was full of himself?
Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman as Holmes and Watson!
I think they’d make a great version of Holmes and Watson. However, I’m afraid I have trouble seeing anyone other that Benedict Cumberbatch as Holmes… Guess he’d be my dream casting.

She looks perfect.

Not because it’s not an important issue, but because I fear it would get to PSA-ish. If you just show that homosexual love is NO BIG DEAL, is 100% normal, just like heterosexual love, and you don’t have your heterosexual couples weighing the merits of a homosexual love story then your audience might be more predisposed. But you take Charming or Snow or even a more minor character like George or Granny and put homophobic thoughts and words into their mouth, I think you run the risk of giving that position more power. Just make it no big deal: love is love is love. It shouldn’t be treated like a spectacle.
This.
I also like the fact that taking this road means more time to progress the actual story, instead of going off on an anti-homophobic tangent (even though I know these messages are valuable).

"there’s lesbians in it"May 17, 2014 at 2:29 pm in reply to: Out in Storybrooke: Who should have a Queery Tale romance? #270292FelieParticipantExactly. We would assume Snow White of all people would be more than accepting of homosexual relationship. It’d be kind of twisty if she isn’t, or starts out that way and eventually gets over it. Sure, they may be fairy tales, but they are people too, and not everyone agrees with this or that. I actually see Snow having a problem with it more so than Charming for whatever reason
Because two hot women hooking up would… you get the picture.
But on a more serious note, I agree that it would be a twist if Snow (or someone else unexpected) was against/disgusted by same-sex relationships. Regina comes across as someone who would never be bothered by such things, except maybe to keep Henry away from it? Then there’s Granny, Jepeto (sp?), that mean king… just the older generation in general, though I admit that it’s an extremely negative stereotype which is not always true. And as someone mentioned earlier the writers may just by-pass the expected homophobia by having same-sex relationships be nbd in FTL.
I think I have my heart set on head-cannoning Elsa into a lesbian, and I fear I will be extremely disappointed with the portrayal of her character next season 🙁

His spent a lot of time on the open sea with tons of sea men, I wouldn’t be surprised if he reveals he had a few flings at one point.i don’t see Hook as being the character wouldn’t be tolerant of it lol. I think Rumpel or Snow and Charming, yes
I see what you did there! XD
