@Pom Yes,Ursula was based on a drag performer named Divine, who was originally set to voice her but died unfortunately. Ursula, Cruella, and Mal are all really awesome villains. Making any one of them, or all of them LBT would be great. But then again, making all of them LGBT might be a bad ideas since they are villains (I know some people got upset about Pan/Felix having that subtext but being villains and called demons)
I would love it! Make them evil, make them interesting, and have them be L/B/T. They are three very iconic characters that, if done correctly, could please the LGBT fan base without their status as villains causing offence (I repeat: if done well). I already kinda ship Mal/Cruella, and would love it if they were Lilith’s parents, and angry at the fact that they were forced to send her to the Land Without Magic in order to protect her from Regina’s curse (my headcannon rn!).
I wonder how they’ll get to SB though. I’m assuming via the hat? But that wouldn’t really make sense for Maleficent, since she is already in SB and kinda dead…ish? Unless she was returned to normal when everyone returned to the EF, and was subsequently captured in the hat by the sorcerer before the second curse. I’m guessing we’re going to have to wait until 4B to find this out >:(

They are, in my opinion, more interesting than the heroes the vast majority of the time.
As far as Maleficent and Regina are concerned: I want to see seething resentment coming from Maleficent for what Regina did to her, and I will not be happy if it is just swept under the rug. Regina abused Maleficent (her ‘friend’!!!) during the curse, and I don’t think it’s ok to excuse that kind of thing, even when the one being abused is a ‘bad guy’.
Parilla calls Maleficent a ‘sorceress’ but I’m hoping she just misspoke, because I really want Maleficent to be a fairy (as is the case in the original tale, the Disney classic, and the live-action). I was hoping that Cruella would be be a sorceress, and that Ursula would be something we’ve not seen before on OUAT, like a siren or something.

There is?

"there’s lesbians in it"FelieParticipantOnce again it looks like OUAT is about to end another season arc without introducing any ‘out’ characters. So disappointing… 🙁
Imo, Ingrid would have been a good candidate, but we never really got to know that side of her.
Here’s looking to the finale of 4A, and 4B with a sliver of hope that Maleficent, Cruella, and/or Ursula are L/B/T, but I won’t hold my breath.
*defeated sigh*

"there’s lesbians in it"FelieParticipantOn that note: is Maleficent a sorceress or a fairy in OUAT? Did they ever clarify?
they never clarified. But I’m betting she will be fairy to go along with the movie now that eveyone knows Maleficent was a dark fairy. She was probably a fairy that got her wings taken by Blue fairy. If A&E hadn’t said she wasn’t, id think she was the black fairy.
Did A&E say that before or after the movie? Because we all now know how they love to cash in on the in-thing, and Maleficent is certainly ‘in’ at the moment. Making her the fabled ‘black fairy’ would be a pretty good move, since everyone wants to know her (the black fairy’s) story, and how she was defeated, etc.

"there’s lesbians in it"FelieParticipantCrack theory: Cruella can shape-shift and is actually the dalmation seen in the promo.
(Ignore the writing on the image)
As weird as it sounds, that dalmation looks suspicious. It’s the eyes and the spots around the eyes. It looks like it’s up to something, that it’s plotting something nefarious. That is not the look of an innocent puppy.
I love this theory! It would put a nice twist on the spoiled, bourgeois, dead-animal-wearer we got in the movies, and a nice deviation from the usual ‘witch’ we’ve been overrun by since… well, the beginning of the series. On that note: is Maleficent a sorceress or a fairy in OUAT? Did they ever clarify?
"so there’s this new show….."
"there’s lesbians in it"FelieParticipantHeadcannon; Maleficent and Cruella are together and Lilith is their daughter (I would die!). They banded together to send Lilith to our world in order to escape being cursed, but they failed as she ended up being miserable with her new family anyway.
Who says that only the good guys get to send their children off to give them their ‘best chance’? If the Wizard could open up a portal to send Ingrid to our world, then why not an innocent little baby?

"there’s lesbians in it"FelieParticipantI would have enjoyed watching Henry let loose on his mums for everything they’ve put him through.
Granny and Red arguing about… whatever they’d argue about would have been fun to see too, but I have to agree with the rest of you; the Snow/Regina squabble was to die for! XD

"there’s lesbians in it"FelieParticipantCalling it: the parchment is the letter from Gerda to Elsa and Anna (from the bottle) and she says she regrets what she did to Ingrid, causing Ingrid to change.
Also, I think it’s possible that Ingrid has accidentally cursed herself with the SS curse (before coming to SB), as she seems to see negative things in her sisters that were never really there until the moment Gerda put her in the urn. She could have been experimenting with it sometime before going into the urn (unlikely), or just after Elsa released her.
