I do agree with the idea that Bae’s portal is the reason the shadow made it to London.
Maybe the shadow is the Dark One, having been separated from Rumpel by the portal. It seems to be fixated, like a ghost acting out a final traumatic concern, on keeping all of those Bae-by-proxy children safe, far too safe for their own good. This would also mean that Rumpel then wouldn’t have anyone other than himself to blame for his subsequent evil actions.

GaultheriaParticipantI’m betting that Greg and Tamara work for Igor, who is using science to investigate the abduction of his boss and friend. This show portrays Igor so differenty from the well-known caricature that I think he is meant to stand out from the background.

Here would be a fine thing:
These are regular wars, men against men. They are just called “the ogre wars” as a form of propaganda, y’know to dehumanize the enemy. Sir Maurice makes the comment “Ogres are not men”. Well that seems fairly… obvious. Why say something like that unless he meant “Our enemy doesn’t fight like men”.Just a thought to play with. I’m sure they’re actually ogres.
Oh, I think the propaganda idea is a good one. Imagine the new Dark One showing up to end the war. Facing the enemy commander, he says “Did you know they call you ‘ogres’? So be it.” With a flick of his wrist, Rumpel transforms the enemy army into sightless monsters, and while they flounder, he leads the children away.

I would actually like if she stays powerless longer (passed the finale). Maybe that way she can learn to be a better person.
It might go the other way; she could become much more dangerous without magic. People hated the Evil Queen, but they feared Mayor Mills.

Some of these other podcasts keep talking about plot holes. The last one I listened to, they called things plot holes so much, I don’t even think they know what it means. They don’t take into account that most of those things probably aren’t plot holes, just story lines that have yet to be developed, or may never be fully developed, but doesn’t affect the flow of the story at all.
Sounds like how people use the word “theory” here. (I’m a researcher in evolutionary biology; we can be sensitive about that.)

Pretty sure it’s a joke. lol. They didn’t say that.
It’s a joke, made out of necessity. I still like the show, but I’m disappointed in the writing for this episode. It was more fun to write about a favourite moment that didn’t happen than to write about a least favourite moment that did. I didn’t think the bean field scene and the circumstances leading up to it were credible. It seems to me that the destruction of this field was disastrous to the good guys’ plans because the writers needed it to be that way, not because the good guys would have let such an all-encompassing defeat take place.

She very conspicuously showed August her big wad of cash, then deliberately left her bag on the bar for no apparent reason and asked him to watch over it. Nobody does that, especially nobody who needs that money in order to stay alive. It was a setup, a sting. I’m thinking Tamara must be from an organization similar to the god-hunters on The Almighty Johnsons.
