Red, nobody is being hostile to you or to anyone else. In a thread about banners, we’re discussing banners, and from what you’ve written it seems we have a similar concern about banner size. Even if we disagree, that’s all it is, not an attack.

The big signature banners / flashing gifs take up a lot of bandwidth for the server. They also tend to be annoying when you are trying to read a post and the signatures take more room then the post. I personally find the flashing gifts annoying as they give me a headache.
I wholeheartedly agree! Animated gifs are like the same joke told over and over and over and over…
I like that people enjoy the show and want to express their enthusiasm. Big banners and animations just make me end up resenting scenes that I might otherwise enjoy.

GaultheriaParticipantGet the Rumpel cover, and change the system error bell to Rumpel’s giggle.

GaultheriaParticipantIt’s lucky for August that Neal could read.

GaultheriaParticipantHow about someone from makeup and wardrobe, or set design and location scouting? I like hearing stories from the people who make it possible for the actors to bring the writers’ ideas to life.

GaultheriaParticipantThis was a brilliant way for August to reveal to Neal that he knew Neal’s secret. August is a carny, and he knows how to sell a show. If he had just spoken the words, Neal would have run away. Instead, he held out the mystery of the box, and Neal was hooked just like we were.

But leaving her son was horrible of her–especially without at least a goodbye. Or letting Rumpelstiltskin think she was kidnapped when she could have just told him or at least left a note.
I agree that it’s horrible, but I think it’s in character for her. For years, she’d been telling Rumpel — and probably the rest of the town, given that they all picked on him — that it’s better to die than to run away. Then she had a chance to run away, and she needed a cover story.

With Milah, I swear she is more of a plot-device. She is just around to make Rumpelstiltskin more sympathetic.
You don’t think she’s Cora’s mom? “Daughter of a Milah”? Hey?

Yes, forced is a great word to describe Greg’s reactions. I don’t really get the big deal about his video either. Maybe it’s because it looked so fake anyways, and there’s tons of videos out there on YouTube of videos that have objects floating around that actually look more realistic, that I’m jaded by this subplot so far.
The person Greg was talking to probably never bothered to look at the video and just assumed it was another picture of his food.
I feel sympathy for Greg and his snooping. Belle is the only person who hasn’t cheerfully encouraged him to leave Storybrooke. He has to feel a little protective of someone who is both his only ally and also another potential victim of the psychos who are everywhere in town.

I just hope we finally find out Mr. Gold’s first name.
I think of him as Jacob. Cowardice, deception, and betrayal gave way to integrity and family reconciliation for the Hebrew patriarch. Jacob also limped.
