What is the benefit to doing this with javascript rather than with plain html? It seems unnecessarily complicated, compared to putting an img with an alt in a link.

We’ve been assuming that Gold acted as some sort of adoption agent, but suppose that the way he helped Regina adopt a child was by pretending to be — or possibly actually being — her husband for a while.

One of the hosts — DJL, I think — suggested Stockholm on the podcast, too.
I think Belle might be the kind of sympathetic character who would always have had the potential to see the good in Rumpel and to fall in love with him, but I think the first imprisonment added a layer of unhealthy complexity to that relationship. Also, although I never watched Lost, I’ve been told that the actress played someone dangerously out of touch with reality. Even just judging from her posture when she walked into Gold’s shop, I can see how she’s very good at that kind of role, so I hope they go with that interpretation.

That sounds good to me. Maybe, as an older and greater power than the Dark One, she is even inherently immune to Rumpel’s magic.
