But at the same time, I don’t really see Mr. Gold allowing Belle to live with MM. He said he’d protect her and he probably feels that he’s the only one who can do that.

Gold could call in that favour the sheriff owes him. Even if Emma no longer cares about keeping her word to Gold after Gold broke (or at least severely twisted) his word to her, she’s still not about to let Regina hurt an innocent person.

Rumpel chose to believe it, for the same reason that he chose to push Belle away.

Maybe George was bluffing and James knew it. George might really be James’ father, from a secret affair long ago. George is extremely bitter about something; could be that his father forbade him to marry his true love or have any contact with her because she was a peasant.

Geppetto went about it the wrong way though. He should have talked to Snow and Charming about why he wanted to send Pinocchio through. He did the wrong thing. He needed to try and convince them. To trust them. I just don’t get his choice.

Geppetto can’t be objective where family is concerned. The situation with his parents is bad enough, but after holding Pinocchio’s corpse in his arms and then getting a second chance, he will protect Pinocchio at all costs.

Do we even know for certain who Henry’s mother is? Has it been confirmed on-air that Henry was right?

I think that action is only suited to a supporting role in this series. This is a puzzle show with a strong character component, an intertwined set of relationship mysteries. Regina’s smile is far more menacing than an army of ogres could ever be.

Was Daniel part of Cora’s plan all along for shaping Regina’s outlook? Cora spooked a horse to put a girl in danger to get Regina to rescue the girl to get the girl’s father to marry Regina, and some have speculated that Cora was involved even earlier with the death of Leopold’s first wife. Cora’s goal in this elaborate plot was to boost her family’s status, but she also wanted Regina to think like her. Cora would not hesitate to manufacture emotional trauma if she thought it would “help”: hire a handsome stable boy about the same age as Regina, let them grow close, then rip them apart at the crucial moment.

Though seriously i think it would be interesting if there was a back story for Charming’s sword. They should also have a back story for the bow and arrow Snow used.

Charming got his sword from brutal King George, so I’m guessing that the sword’s back story has a lot in common with what Ben didn’t tell Luke about Anakin’s lightsaber.

It is just another sword then? It isn’t special in some way. That is sort of sad. Then why did Rumpel give her her father’s sword specifically. Why keep it? Though i guess these objects could have just shown up in his shop when the curse happened and he didn’t actually collect them.

I think the sword can be thoroughly non-magical and still be special because of its use and its history, the way antiques are more than just old things. And even if the sword is not unique, it would have a kind of shared heritage with the others of its family, just like starships named “Enterprise”.

I always wondered how Charming got his sword back after he threw it at Regina in Ep 2 and it went with her to her castle because he had it in the Pilot when he took Emma to the wardrobe the day of the curse.

    Twins?
