GaultheriaParticipant
There is no circular reasoning because i am not giving you a reason. I am not trying to convince you. I don’t care if you believe this or not.
If you don’t care what people think, then there are easier ways to go about it.

GaultheriaParticipantOn an unrelated note, every time I post to this thread, it drops me back to page 3 (while the current page number is 2,576). It’s not a problem — nothing is lost — just unusual. Maybe the forum software doesn’t handle high page counts properly.

GaultheriaParticipantThere is no harsh criticism. The scene is stupid
Sounds harsh to me.
Most people that drive regularly keep their car keys and their house key on the same key chain.
Repeating an assertion in support of itself is circular reasoning. It’s fine to say “I prefer doing a thing a particular way”, but that’s as far as you can take it without evidence.

GaultheriaParticipantThere might be situations where people don’t. If they are young, if they don’t drive a lot, if they share their car, but most people keep them together, especially people who drive regularly, which Henry does because that is his job.
I’m wondering where you got the data from to make the assertion that you used to justify the harsh criticism of that scene’s writing. If “keys together” is just the way that you prefer to keep them, then I don’t think criticism of that scene is justified.

GaultheriaParticipantIt was stupid that it wasn’t with Henry in the last episode. Most people have one key chain that they keep their house key and car key on and they take their keys with them every time they leave their house even if they aren’t taking their car. Especially, if they don’t share the car with anyone else.
I carry my house key separately from my car key, so I found that scene realistic. How did you come to the conclusion that most people keep their house and car keys together?

GaultheriaParticipantAll the hush-hush about Emma’s pregnancy could be explained by health concerns. The pregnancy isn’t far along, and Emma is getting into her forties. If there’s a problem with Emma and the baby, Hook would certainly want to protect both of them, and couples tend not to make the big announcement until they’re sure that they’re out of the early danger zone.
I don’t think the show will use this explanation now that Emma is out of the picture, but it’s what I’d think if it happened in real life.

GaultheriaParticipantI think it is very safe to say that everyone and I do mean everyone will find at least one thing that will make them want to watch 702
Now that the episode has been broadcast, did you mean that it has enough variety for everyone to find something, or that there’s one scene in particular that everyone would like?

GaultheriaParticipantOh I think it’s totally possible because anything on this show is now possible. From Hook2 standpoint, sure why not. He has no history with Regina at all, but from Regina’s standpoint…eh. He might be Hook2 but he’s still (some version of) Hook, a person Regina has quite a history with and it’s not exactly…good. I think they’ve set it up, but I also think they’ve set up Hook looking for his baby’s mama and getting back together with her (crack theory: it’s the “Witch” who kidnapped his daughter).
Ah, but Roni and Jolly don’t have any history, as far as they know. They’re like Ensign Ro and Commander Riker in the ST:TNG episode “Conundrum”, when the crew lost their memories.

GaultheriaParticipantWhile Emma Swan also used to be one of my favorite characters, the real Emma hasn’t existed for several seasons.
This is how I feel when I watch post-2005 Star Trek.

GaultheriaParticipantThe daughter’s rook is black… I know, it’s not as if it could have been green or blue or whatever, but still, Tiana has to be already connected to the rest of the cast somehow.
