There has to be something else going on here. I still think Blue is evil and the black fairy has reasons her her behavior.
Rumpel said that the black fairy takes babies from their mothers’ arms, but all we’ve actually seen her do is show up for a child abandoned in the woods. She seems bitter, but after doing that for centuries I think anyone would have a sour outlook.

Belle’s accelerated-pregnancy stretchy sounds made me cringe.
Why, oh why wasn’t the confrontation between Rumpel and the Black Fairy done as the “guess my name” scene from the fairy tale? Though it’s cool that Belle is playing that game with Rumpel.
I guess Rumpel will end up in genie cuffs by the end of this season.

I’m surprised they didn’t go the obvious route with the hammer of a god. Disney owns Marvel so Thor seemed like the given, I wonder why they didn’t go there.
I think it comes down to creation versus destruction, and the optimistic theme that’s part of the Henry stories. Hephaestus’ hammer is a tool for creation, but Thor’s is a weapon.

It bothers me that Blue stayed big for no reason.
There’s, um, more they can show on screen when she’s big than when she’s small. I mean, it’s impolite to talk about a real person’s choice in clothing, and I wouldn’t do that, but anything the show can do with its characters to keep eyes locked on the screen, well, this show has been doing that for a long time.

I like how Nemo is a (former) villain whose story (as seen on the show) begins after he’s put his villainous ways behind him. OUAT spends so much time on characters’ roads to redemption that it’s reassuring to see that some characters can actually get there. Liam, too, seems more introspective than usual for someone on OUAT.
I could get onboard with seeing him and Liam having some storylines. Doing some pirate stuff or something.
