GaultheriaParticipant
Those are savior words (Matthew 16:21-23).

GaultheriaParticipantMorpheus clearly says that when Rumple used the sands on Belle, that it was used on him too, and that it was also his dream world. That really was their son, and the TLK waking up Belle was proof.
Even though it’s the TV drama convention for the audience to believe what characters say, I’d take dream dialogue with a grain of salt.
Going beyond “it was just a dream”, though, I’d like to think that Morfetus was a manifestation of Rumpel’s good side.

GaultheriaParticipantAs opposed to anyone else? Not Snow, Charming, Ruby, Granny…? Sorry. This will just never sit right with me.
I’m glad that Belle is facing her Rumpel issues, but she really needs to have a long talk with Lacey about not trusting bad boys.

September 26, 2016 at 4:23 pm in reply to: ET Online 9/25 – [SPOILER] Is Going to Die?! Your 9 Most Burning Questions #327751GaultheriaParticipantThat’s what I think, more or less, except it’s not Emma’s dark nature it’s her insecure nature, the one that puts up walls when she is hurt or scared. I think if Emma gets split like Regina it won’t be he and the Dark Swan, it’ll be our Emma and basically her insecurities in bodily form.
The idea of characters splitting themselves into good and evil versions, so that the good side can absolutely demolish the evil, seems like such a horribly doomed strategy that I think there must be more to this season’s theme, like acceptance and balance is the only real solution.

I’m tired of having to fanwank stuff into existence in order to explain what the characters are doing. After six years I should not have to go looking for answers to basic questions like “when did Zelena and Regina decide to live together”
I’m okay with them skipping past the basic stuff. It’s like the “How come we never see any bathrooms on the Enterprise?” question. I think R&Z’s earlier conversation would have been straightforward, without drama, and it’s completely implied by what we did see on screen. It’s not like the question of “What happened with Will and Anastasia?”, which we’re still trying to figure out and despairing of ever seeing resolved.

GaultheriaParticipantBut there is nothing wrong with Hook grabbing a drink. And it’s not like he was drunk. He could grab a drink regardless of the situation and it would be fine.
I wonder who the other drink was for, before Emma showed up. Hook might’ve wanted two drinks for himself, but there was room in each glass for about five times what they held. I’m guessing he was asking Charming for advice; Charming would have quietly left if he’d returned from the bathroom to find Emma and Hook patching things up.

GaultheriaParticipantWhat sort of family history? Father/son or nephew/uncle?
I hadn’t really thought it through, except that OUAT is weighted that way, but now I’m thinking Aladdin is the young prince. Give him a backstory like Moses, plus a few years to grow up from the self-centered boy we saw on Wonderland, and he can be a social justice crusader with anger-control issues just like Moses.

GaultheriaParticipantAs for Morpheus, I actually thought maybe it was actually the baby. I mean we still don’t know much about Belle or Rumple’s moms so maybe they were Gods and that is how the Rumbelle Baby became a God?
That would fit with Rumpel’s aunts (was that how Malcolm explained the relationship?) being two of the three spinners of fate.

That’s exactly the reaction she should be having right now after what they’ve been through, and they gave her the agency to say “NO”.
Yeah. I think that’s the point of her dream, too. It’s not meant to be an accurate retelling of events and feelings back then. It’s how she feels about the relationship now, with several years of mature hindsight.

GaultheriaParticipantHow did Aladdin become a Savior?
That’s what happens to thieves on OUAT. And then they die.
Where is Jasmine?
Stuck in a lamp. Aladdin probably dreams of her.
What kind of history do Aladdin Jafar have?
Family history.
Where does this fit in Jafar’s own history with regards to Wonderland?
OUATIW takes place in the original timeline, before Emma and Hook changed history.
