I’m still a bit lost on how a hundred or so human army could wipe out an entire magical race….that’s like saying our world could defeat Harry Potter’s when one simple curse could annihilate someone.

I suspect Gothel is just an evil sorceress who went even more insane after being trapped in her own tower, where she concocted a power fantasy to compensate for her helplessness, and that the other members of her coven feel really uncomfortable whenever she reminisces about her imaginary old days as a wood nymph.

Without the cutesy-little-girl talk, Alice wasn’t as annoyingly weird this episode.
When the person playing the villain doesn’t successfully convery menace, a sustained blast of dramatic music can’t make up for that.

Facilier said to Lucy, “Find something that came over in the curse, a symbol of Henry and Jacinda’s love.” Sure, the slipper is a symbol, but Lucy herself is a much more powerful symbol. Either the restoration spell didn’t have the right ingredient and so didn’t fully cleanse Henry — leaving him too attached to his cursed identity for the kiss to work — or the three of them need to do True Love’s Family Hug.
