the character description for OUAT’s Hans, which is a recurring role, says he’s refined and well-spoken on the outside, but he has a serious chip on his shoulder and an even more serious mean streak.

That’s a perfect description of Mr. Gold. Rather than bring in a new cast member, they should tie this into the Jekyll/Hyde situation that they foreshadowed with the two Rumpels.

The guy from the frozen team who went to check on OUAT ‘s portrayal, do u guys think maybe he will make sure they won’t do anything that would conflict with a possible sequel?

Yeah, with the Frozen characters there’s too much money at stake with possibilities for near-future kids’ animations. OUAT is on the decline, too, so OUAT gets to milk Frozen, not the other way around.

I think Santa Clause might be coming to the Once Upon a Time mythology.

A lot of people are convinced that Kristoff will become Santa. I especially like the parallels with the stop-motion “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town” TV special.

Most of dramatic television (that isn’t a warped “reality” mess of humanity~ which should fall under the label of nauseous farce) is *expensive fan fiction* and when the fans of a concept are very productive and creative writers, we all can win. Most script writers start out as huge fans of a genre, a character or a story that they want to re-tell.

I think writers need detachment so that they’ll know when their writing fails. If the writers are fans — or maybe “Fans” as opposed to “fans” — then it can be as if their internal critic is asleep, letting their fiction become precious. Neil Gaiman wrote the Doctor Who episode “The Doctor’s Wife”, and adult fans who watched DW’s first era as kids seem to adore this episode. I started watching the new DW in 2005 as an adult, and I’ve enjoyed DW for the most part, but I found the Doctor’s conversations with this episode’s main guest character to be nearly unbearable in their “tributeness”.

As someone with long hair, I get itchy just thinking about it falling on only one side of my neck. It looks unbearable.

Cora said in show that Jonathan took her “virtue” which is to say he took her virginity

I take everything Cora says with a grain of salt, and especially since she was in a crisis at that time. There could also be “conceal, don’t feel, don’t let it show” issues, such as she was raped at 14 by a family member or something like that.

As long as the show keeps going, there’s the chance that Zelena isn’t Cora’s eldest. If they want to redeem Cora, especially for abandoning Zelena, then trauma involving a previous child would be one way to explain Cora’s destructive choices.

I hope the show doesn’t go this route, but I don’t think it’s unlikely.

what have they used the lynn valley library for set wise?

The sets I know about are the hospital, sheriff’s office, psych ward, and B&B room. The only parts that the public can see are the hospital ER doors, the front desk when they occasionally have the doors open, and the sheriff’s parking space.

The trailers are back at the old Lynn Valley library. They might just be filming at the indoor standing sets while they still can, for later episodes; the building is due to be torn down.

Congrats for Elizabeth and Scott for getting these roles! Oddly enough, I found a video of Scott ice skating. Heh.

I wonder if OUAT will delve into all the speculation about Kristoff’s other job. I’m taking the hat to be a sign.
