I was trying to figure out a way to say it and you did. She didn’t really serve a purpose. They could have actually done something much more Rapunzel-y. And now she’s just another in a long line of people we’ll never see.

It should have been Rapunzel who became the wicked witch. Imagine David giving his motivational speech, giving Rapunzel the courage to overcome her fears and be the person she aspires to be, and it turns out that the only thing holding her back from world domination was her fear of failure.

Least-favorite moment: The scene when Zelena was fawning over Snow White’s pregnancy and Snow White was buying it. Does that woman lack common sense? Don’t trust a stranger, especially not one who croons over your pregnant belly and makes you tea. Not when people are disappearing and the Wicked Witch is on the loose.

I’ll accept it if she’s the scarecrow’s counterpart. Maybe that plot is already well underway. Although, in a sense, the whole town is the scarecrow.

Wonderland seems to be playing it too straightforward for this, but I think that when a villain boasts that only one thing can kill her, it either means that she really wants to die or that there’s something else that could kill her just as easily but which would be much easier for the hero to obtain.

Is it just me but is anyone else bothered by the wicked witch being a redhead/strawberry blonde?

The wicked witch has the same look as the evil queen, but cranked up to 11. Compensating for feelings of “always a bridesmaid, but never a bride”, I expect.

Or maybe it’s just a ploy to attract Star Trek fans to the show.

I think it was Love at First Sight for Victor when he first laid eyes on Ruby back in 1×03, even if he was cursed.

I’m trying to imagine what the woman in red would have looked like to the man from the land without colour. The sight must have been overwhelming.

Wooden objects, no matter who they once were, wouldn’t be very useful I would imagine, unless it were Pinocchio

The Jolly Roger is made of enchanted wood, and it’s already harnessed the power of two other magical creatures for realm travel, so a magical wooden figurehead on the prow seems like a natural upgrade. Plus, I think the image begs to be on the show, since it would be goofy and macabre at the same time.

What if prior to becoming a flying monkey, Walsh started out as the Tin Man? Think about it. He owned a furniture store, which could tie into his occupation as a woodsman. He also wanted to win Emma’s heart. Perhaps Zelena promised the Tin Man a love life in exchange for servitude, and walla he’s a disguised flying monkey dating Emma.

I like that a lot. It feels like a Once Upon A Time life story.

In the past week or so, the forum index at https://oncepodcast.com/forums/recent-with-spoilers has been slow to load in Safari on IOS, and the text jumps around several times while it loads, making it difficult to hit a link before the link moves. This started around the time some of the pages were showing up completely blank.
