Can any of these things really be considered “plot holes” when the series hasn’t ended yet?
They may address them in future eps.
    Just sayin’

I didn’t think it as awful at all. I loved it and S1 🙂

Even stand alone shows like CSI and SVU have a running backstories that sometimes span multiple seasons.
So while ppl could watch any given eps and get it, they would still be conused about some things that have to do with that backstory.
And, ppl who don’t watch from the beginning are the last ppl who shoul be labeling a show convoluted or confusing.
I wouldn’t start a book in the middle and then complain that it was convoluted. That would be my own fault.

Maybe it’s because I spent 6 years as a die hard LOSTie but I do not find OUAT to be convoluted.

LOST changed the way I watch tv shows/movies.
I find myself looking at things in the background, foreshadowing, expressions on their faces, tone of voice, choice of words, etc.
I don’t even do it on purpose, it just happens naturally.

And, I agree, PriceofMagic, OUAT is easier to follow, however, I found LOST very enjoyable 🙂

Except if you just join it is kind of hard to understand especially since they don’t use their FL names in my opinion.

But that would be true of any show if ppl started watching mid season, wouldn’t it?

I don’t find OUAT convoluted or confusing in the least bit.
Then, again, I didn’t think LOST was convoluted or confusing, either.

When ppl start using the word convoluted, that usually means they’re confused.
Some ppl blame the writerrs -i.e – “they don’t know what they’re doing…….they’re making it up as they go along….etc…”

I honestly don’t see what is so hard about following the story.
I mean, if ya pay attention, it’s pretty straight foreword.

That’s a pretty interesting cconcept and I do Love Rumple – he’s my fave character on the show 🙂

In relation to him being a saint, though, I can’t get past the fact that he turned a man into a snail and crushed him with his bootheel, killed Enora, and killed Milah.
Although, Milah was kind of a b*tch, she and the others didn’t deserve to die.

    Lol KFC 🙂
    Try to enjoy it.
    LOST was epic!
I’m so glad I am an original LOSTie and have done several rewatches and don’t have to go through what you are right now…..

However, hang in there. LOST knowledge makes watching and theorizing OUAT so much more fun -imo 🙂

Oh, and, don’t blink lol! 🙂

    Nice post 🙂

    I love the name connections.
These writers did this on LOST, too.
Names are very significant clues 🙂

Rewatch S1. Rewatch S2 when it comes out on DVD in August. Look for foreshadowing, clues, nods, etc.
Try to forget about it for a while and take long rides on the mc 🙂 (and think about OUAT theories anyway lol!)

And Dr Frankenstein had dealings with Rumplestiltskin and the Mad Hatter, ultimately creating Snow White’s Evil Queen, whose true love was a stand in for Frankenstein’s monster.
