On LOST, Ben had two alliases –
Henry Gale – Oz reference.
Dean Moriarty – connection to Neal Cassady.
The real Neal Cassady was the inspiration for the character ‘Dean Moriarty’ in Jack Kerouac’s novel ‘On the Road’.Love all the LOST/classic literature/film connections 🙂

In Mary Shelley’s original novel, Victor’s mother dies of Scarlet Fever shortly before he leaves for college.
His mother’s death is a significant part of the story and Victors life and choices he makes.They at least gave a nod to the original tale 🙂
At one point (I think it may have been in the pilot) Snow says to Charming –
“She poisoned an apple because I was prettier than her!”Like Phee said, maybe if it were in just a few threads, ppl wouldn’t complain.
The amount of Hook threads is overwhelming…..if I were Colin and came here and saw all of them, I’d feel honored.
I didn’t say I didn’t like the actor, I don’t like his character and yes, I think a romantic relationship between Emma and Hook is a bit creepy, given their respective relationships with a mother and son (providing Neal actually is Bae, which it seems safe to say, he is).
There are multiple threads devoted to Hook, and what, one against him – but that’s not allowed?

“…attack us…” – Seems you’re taking things a bit too personal. I saw ppl express their opinion about a character on a tv show…that’s not attacking anyone,
“…too scared to bring him up” – There are an extreme amount of threads devoted to Hook/Hook related topics on this board.

Phee said it perfectly and I agree with her.
Even if a topic doesn’t have much, if anything at all, to do with Hook, he’s mentioned. It’s getting harder and harder to avoid (which I used to do but gave up because it became futile).
No, I’m not a Hook fan. I don’t like him. I just don’t. And that should be ok.I agree with Nonnie.
Hook’s sexual innuendos make him come off as sleazy.
Seems like they purposely wrote his character to be a predictable playboy with a Cassanova Complex who is in love with himself.
As far as easy on the eyes…meh…He’s ok. I’ve seen better…but, that’s just my opinion.

I can’t believe some ppl still doubt this fact.
K&H have confirmed it.They may be ambiguous or throw a red herring out there from time to time, but they don’t flat out lie. It’s not their style….never was.
They know alot of this show’s popularity is based on theorizing, as was LOST’s.They also know that if they lie and purposely mislead us with blatant lies, we will lose interest in theorizing because we won’t be able to trust them.
They’re not stupid.
I think it’s a valid point.
To some ppl, not only is it extremely creepy, it’s weird and gross.
And what difference does it make – one more ‘Hook’ topic….there are sooo many already 😉
