And, it’s all good 🙂
Nothing wrong with agreeing to politely disagree on something 🙂
At this point, a lot of things are just speculation.gypsy
ParticipantNot having “knowledge of his enemy” is all the more reason to hang on to the bean if he didn’t have to use it.
What I’m saying is, if Hook knew of another way to get to Neverland, besides the bean….why use the bean?
Why not save the bean for future use….an ‘Ace up his sleeve’ so to speak….
He was dealing with the Dark One…..who know’s what would come in handy in the future when he finally did go to exact revenge?gypsy
ParticipantHowever, if he held on to the bean, he wouldn’t have had to go through what he went through to get to Storybrooke.
I just don’t see using the bean and wasting it if he didn’t have to.
They made a point of letting us know the beans weren’t a dime a dozen.gypsy
ParticipantSo, if he didn’t actually need the bean, why waste it to go to Neverland if he could get there another way?
Wouldn’t he have held on to it for future use in trying to to find Rumple when the time came?
That would’ve been the smart thing to do, considering how rare and useful the beans are.gypsy
ParticipantYeah, but if Hook was in Neverland before, why would he need the bean to go there this time?
I don’t think he was in Neverland before he used the bean to get there and, in turn, is not older than Rumplestiltskin.January 29, 2013 at 3:48 pm in reply to: Puzzle Solved for Greg Mendell’s name/license plate/phone #170476gypsy
ParticipantTheGoldenKey –
I like your theory. You bring up a lot of good points and alot of the clues fit.
I know, from working with you on our Dr Whale/Dr Frankenstein theory for all those weeks leading up to eps 5, that you definitely know the difference between a nod, a clue, an easter egg and a red herring 🙂
We definitely were led down many roads researching that one!
Surprising what can actually turn out to be a clue if you know where to look 😉Kellyn –
I like your ‘Never Ending Story’ idea in relation to TGK’s theory.
Makes me think of Stephen King’s ‘The Dark Tower’. He too, was a character in his own book. And considering the ton of Stephen King clues throughout the show, I think that theme fits in a fun way…….Loved Emma’s Stephen King/Shawshank Redemption reference in ‘The Outsider’ 🙂

ParticipantIt was revealed that Rumplestiltskin is around 300 yrs old, but yeah, I believe the BF (Ruel Gorem) is older.
