I really hope they revist those two things – Grace’s mother and the hat rules in relation to WL and LWC beause they’re bugging me[adrotate group="5"]Regina needed Jefferson when they use the hat to go to Wonderland because “hat’s rules” – two go in, two go out. She planned all along to leave Jefferson in WL in place of her father.
So, if Jefferson was able to go to Victor’s Land Without Color, does that mean it’s really what door they are going throug/each land has it’s own rules?
And when Jefferson said hat’s rules did he mean they had to follow the rules in each land they went to or did he take someone else with him to LWC…..Grace’s mother, maybe? Was she his partner when they needed two to go to a world, she would wait in that world until say, Jefferson and Victor returned and then her and Jefferson would leave Victor in his world and retun together to EF? She got stuck in LWC? Could that be what Jefferson meant when he said Grace lost her mother beause of his job?I get the feeling that no one in SB (or the writers room) remembers that Emma made another hat. And is it possible that only a portal jumper can worker the hat? Obviously anyone can work a bean, but maybe the hat is specific to its owner?

I like your thought about NL/SB and the time/not aging connections.
Rumple did make the curse so it would take him to where Bae went.
We all know that in the PP story, he could travel between NL and our world.
Whatever it was that was put into the curse to take Rumple to where Bae was had to be something that ‘knew’ that.
Also, Rumple had to have had some type of insight….I’m sure it occurred to him that Bae may age in a land without magic….he aged in EF and after 2 centuries (+/-) how could he have possibly thought Bae would still be alive? Unless he knew better?He has two memories; memories from FT land and memories that the curse created (like knowing about the Civil War).
I never thought of Jefferson having two memories – FTL and also SB memories. That ould be true.
Or, he read about the Civil War in one of the books in his house….there are stacks of them.
I think Regina would bring him books to read. After he read so many, she would take some back to the shool. I think he smuggled ‘thee’ book out that way without Regina knowing it and that’s how MM got ahold of it and ultimately, Henry.
Also, if Regina was taking him books to read, she could have stayed and talked/bragged about the ‘good old days’. What’s the harm? Jefferson was confined to his house and, who’d believe him anway? Could be how he knew some stuff that was put into the book.The only thing is, we know the book goes back farther than the events of the pilot since Baelfire is in the book.
Right, but, if Jefferson realm jumped to any given land before the curse, he could have collected the stories from diff people.
He says to Emma in Hat Trick that he “hear’s things” and has a converstaion with her about books.
He mentions the Civil War….which I thought was odd….how would Jefferson know about the Civil War?Hmm that is a good theory and maybe August did write the book and Jefferson sent the book to MM.
Anyway, I add NL to door #4 could be wrong on that. Still think the Blue door could be related to Ariel because of the color of water is blue no other reason then that.
Yeah, I posted a whole theory on here back in December about why I think Jefferson wrote the book and why I think he’s the one who sent it to MM and why I think he told August aout Neal and the dagger.

Because maybe Bae pleaded with him not to and because it seemed like there was a falling out between Rumple and Jefferson….he stopped realm jumping because he said that’s how Grace lost her mother….this could have been shortly after that…..Jefferson could have did some jumping after the fallling out, looking for Grace’s mother and ran into Bae in NL or he simply didn’t want to tell Rumple because he saw the potential of keeping that secret to himself.
And I’m not sure which door would belong to NL….looked like there were 2 diff green doors, one of which is more than likely Oz, so the other one could be NL. But I do agree that the door posted above could be NL.
I fully believe that one of the doors goes to NL an that Jefferson went there and met up with Bae and knows his story and told it to August (because August was in SB at least once before we see him arrive in True North) and that’s how August knew who Neal was in Tallahassee and how he knew about the dagger in The Return.
