Flashforward were alluded to with the funeral parlor Hoffs/Drawlar anagram in S3E22. In S6 in LOST, the flashsideways were an alternate reality (created because of the paradox when jughead went off)….that is evident by the running theme of reflections throughout most of the eps…..mirrors, window panes, etc. The flashforwards started when we see Jack and Kate at the airport and Jack delivers the now famous line “We have to go back!”

Actually, LOST had flashbacks, flashforwards and flashsideways – 3 different concepts…and the flashsideways were only S6

Ursula- that is a very interseting way to look at the Red, White and Blue comment Anders made- I like that 🙂 There is also a book (that was also made into a documentary) “Nightmares in Red White and Blue: Evolution of the American Horror Film” …that of course, includes/focuses on Frankenstein.

    Slurpeez…great pic!

I like the Frankenstein theory. My friend, GoldenKey and I have a similar theory, with DrWhale as Dr Victor Frankenstein, Daniel as the ‘Monster’. We have been ‘reasearching’ clues connecting Dr Whale/Dr Frankenstein for over a month. Most notably, the the 2×02 promo. Not to mention the quote from the fim Extreme Measures “I’m a hell of a doctor, huh?”….also spoken by DrWhale in 1×06. The Damon Lindelof/Prometheus connection…the Schumacher connection…Archie’s notes…and they are ones just off the top of my head…I know I’m forgetting a few. We found a ton of connections supporting the Frankie theory.

Could be Whale is portrayed as a womanizer because he’s been stuck in Storybrooke for 28 yrs and hasn’t really ‘dated’ much. Maybe the curse effected him differently than the ppl from FTL. If he is Dr Frankenstein, that means he came from ‘our world’, was pulled into FTL and was there when the curse took place…maybe he had his memories all along…would also explain the tension between him and Regina.

And Thomas Schumacher, Disney’s Theatrical Productions President, is doing “Young Frankenstein” off Broadway this year. The name ‘Schumacher’ appears on a piece of paper, on the desk in the Untold Stories app. There’s also an author by the name of Schumacher, Her novel is about a book club and one of the novels they discuss in the book club is Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein.

The Dr Whale quote “I’m a hell of a doctor, huh?” is from “The Shepherd”. It’s also a quote from the movie Extreme Measures…which has the same premise as Frankenstein.
