GoldenKey lol! I know. These writers led me down many ‘rabbit holes’ chasing clues during LOST. Most of the time, it paid off 🙂 I do hope it pays off this time. Go Team Frankie 🙂
[adrotate group="5"]gypsyParticipantHey GoldenKey 🙂 I love it! Dr Frankenstein resurrects Daniel. That would be a perfect reason to bring Frankie into the story. Totally on board with that. You know I love the Frankie theory 🙂
gypsyParticipantTallahassee as a LOST nod, could be referring to the fact that Athony Cooper/Alan Seward was a con man. Ben called him the ‘man from Tallahassee’. If the Tallahassee reference has anything to do with Henry’s dad, maybe he was a con man of some sort (in Emma’s eyes, anyway)…she didn’t speak very highly of him.
gypsyParticipantK&H said in an interview that they have been giving us clues about Dr. Whale since early in S1. In The Shepherd (eps 6) Dr. Whale says to MM “I’m a hell of a doctor, huh?”
That is a quote from a the movie Extreme Measures. It has been compared to Frankenstein because of the premise.
Adding that to the other 17 clues pointing to Dr. Whale being Frankie sure makes it seem very possible.
I hope so. ‘Frankenstein’ is my favorite monster 🙂gypsyParticipantClick on the beans in Gold’s shop and see what happens 🙂
gypsyParticipantMysteryKat25- Really good theory! I love when that happens to me, too- looking up some obscure ‘clue’ that leads to info that just some how ‘fits’. I really am in love with the ‘Dr Whale is Frankenstein’ theory because so many clues seem to ‘fit’, but, hey, no none knows for sure. I so love reading other theories, especially when there is info to back it up. We will see soon enough 🙂
gypsyParticipantThat’s pretty cool! Love the attention to detail…street sign says ‘Second’
gypsyParticipantIn Archie’s notebook, the ladies were all listed on the left, each with a specific date in 2009, while the men were all listed on the right (including the ‘blonde patient’) -with only one date listed- January 13, 2019.
gypsyParticipant“Frankenstein, or the Modern Prometheus”- Prometheus is a Greek myth, as well as Poseidon, who is Triton’s father, who, in turn is Ariel’s father. The little mermaid is supposed to be introduced to the show. While she is a fairy tale, there is Greek mythology woven into her story. K&H have already included the Siren into the plot, which is also Greek mythology. Frankenstein is considered one of the earliest science fiction works, but, that is the exact opposite of what Mary Shelley intended. She considered it ‘anti-science fiction’. That was her whole point in using nature- weather, and the elements- to create her monster. There was much debate, at the time, as to what genre Frankenstein actually fell under. I’m not trying to be ‘right’ or shove my opinion down anyone’s throat, or anything like that 🙂 I’m just pointing out that it isn’t as far a stretch as it may seem, if looked at from a different perspective.
That’s just my opinion. I feel it supports the Frankenstein theory.
Whether he turns out to even be Frankenstein or not, remains to be seen. He may be someone else, entirely, at this point. There are clues and facts which support a few other very good theories. I just like the Frankenstein one best 🙂gypsyParticipantWell, I agree with you about one thing- being ‘fanatical Oncers’ 🙂 And, of course, everyone is entitled to our own opinion. That’s what makes theorizing fun. I love hearing other ppl’s take on things 🙂 even if I don’t agree with all of them, there are some really thoughtful and intelligent theories out there 🙂
