Is it just me, or does is Belle wearing very mayor-like clothing? Like seriously, it looks like one of Regina’s outfits, but Belle-ified.
Since it’s been confirmed that we will find out how Regina got baby Henry, I think we can all agree that will be the flashback of this episode. But I don’t think it will be Henry growing up, that’s not what they said. They said the story of how Henry came to be with Regina, not his life with her.
Can I remind everyone of a little something here? When Regina first met August in Storybrooke, episode 1.10 I think, she said that he seemed familiar to her. Now I don’t think there was any indication of Pinocchio and the Evil Queen ever crossing paths in the Enchanted Forest, so how would he be familiar to her? I think he was the one that physically brought Henry to Regina and dropped him off. Gold orchestrated it, yes, but I highly doubt that he literally brought Henry to Regina. Seems like more of a hands-on thing than Gold would be willing to do.
Hmm. I’m not sure I like Regina and Emma’s outfits, but I guess that’s not that important. It looks like the mermaids may attack Emma, which should be interesting, though that’s not exactly what I expected of them. I thought they would be more like sirens, luring men to their deaths, but I guess you never know what can happen on Once.
I agree they should have mentioned Belle. The point really is the emotional ties that bind these people together. There’s a point where a relationship isn’t just a fling, a thing, a passing experience in your life but one of the defining ones. Where you become each other’s family. Tragedy may pass and break that bond, death/divorce/break-ups, but in terms of understanding the show, there is a world of difference between what Rumpel had with Cora and what he has with Belle. Hook and Milah lived together. They made plans for their future together. It was not just a fling between them and it is not for Belle and Rumpel either. Yet they mentioned the affair of Cora and Rumpel and David’s fake marriage to Katherine ? As I said, Disney Jr. narrator.

Honestly I’d like to see some people from the Jane Austen novels. Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy would be great! Plus the Les Miserables characters. Valjean, Javert, Fontaine, Marius, Cosette, Eponine! I think I would die of happiness if they were to show up. 🙂
I am constantly comparing Regina’s story to Elphaba’s almost every time we get some of her back story. I even made a fanvid with No Good Deed! So yeah, I get what you’re saying. It seems like the writers use a lot of the same themes in Once Upon A Time that are present in Wicked, like how do you define evil and what makes a person the way they are.
