I’m guessing that in “The Thing You Love Most” Regina may not have been referring to the Aurora we saw in “Broken”. Regina only referred to “…that sleeping beauty [who] got the best of you.” Aurora’s statement about Maleficent’s conflict with her mother makes me think that the “sleeping beauty” Regina referred to may have been Aurora’s mother.
That’s the conclusion I reached as well- other wise it makes no sense at all :/
The amulet (if that the right word to use as it doesnt seem to protect against, but cause danger/evil to the one who holds it), I’m not sure on – I hope it’s explained in the next ep tho 😐
One thing I did catch having just watched S01E21 & 22 just prior to watching S2, was Regina didn’t think FTL had been destroyed, if she had, she wouldn’t have told Jefferson she needed to go back there for something, as it was she was able to pull an apple from FTL past …. I think/am HOPING!!! (because I want them all to return to their world by the end & live happily ever after lol 😉 ) Is that FTL will need to be ‘repaired/made whole’ again somehow.
Maybe Emma will be the key to bringing this about. She does seem to have magic, at least in our world, and I would way it fits her role as the savior. Restoring a world would take a lot of magic. The only question is, what kind of price would something like that have?

Yeah, my guess is that Phillip and Mulan were living in a similar state to those in Storybrook, trapped in time and in a haze until Emma caused time to move again. Then they realized what happened and began aging again and Phillip and Mulan could begin searching for Aurora.
That would explain Mulan’s love for Phillip. Perhaps they were a couple in their cursed and “frozen” state. I’m looking forward to seeing their safe haven. Maybe we’ll see Captain Hook there.
I still wonder how they knew how much time has passed. Someone must have been aware, like Regina/Gold/Jefferson. Did Jefferson find his way back? There are plenty of other magical characters that perhaps could have remembered and felt the passing of time. Tinkerbell perhaps?
Either that or they bonded while they were searching for Aurora. It was 28 years after all, and it doesn’t seem like he’d be a hard guy to fall for.

Now I’ve only watched the episode once, but it seemed to me like Phillip and Mulan knew a lot about the wraith and they had been dealing with it for a while. I’m thinking it’s either not the same wraith, or there was some messed up time thing with the portal and Emma and Snow came through a good time after the wraith, at least on the fairy tale side of things.
That’s what I think, Because Jefferson’s hat was able to move through time, but if it’s not being focused, then perhaps it’s a randomized process?
Looks like we’re all on the same page with this one
Yep! Now wait a week and watch us all be totally wrong…

Oh my goodness! I missed that line! That would clear everything up! But then who put this girl into the sleeping coma?
I would still say Maleficent, since Aurora did mention her when she first woke up.

Oh, that’s true. I hadn’t taken that in to consideration.

Being a Bae/Emma fan I think that Bae is still the father, and that this new character that was in the city is him. We were all wondering how they could elongate this without spoiling his identity quickly, well now we have a way. Emma is in the enchanted forest (or some part of it) and no one else knows about whom Henry’s father is. So now they could have Bae (If he’s the father) enter the scene and not reveal his identity for a while.
I also think that the person who sent Bae a message was August. There’s a strong possibility that the note could’ve been sent before the curse was broken, because august knew everything about the curse. We also don’t know how long the cloud was over the town, therefore making time irrelevant.
What do you guys think?
Wow. I hadn’t taken in to account how long it takes for a postcard to travel through the mail… then again we don’t really know at what point this scene was taking place, so that kind of makes it not matter anymore. I would be inclined to believe it was August, if he hadn’t turned in to wood. No, I think it was someone else, and I think we’re all going to be surprised when we find out who.
As for him being Bae… well, I don’t think so. Bae wouldn’t have known about Storybrooke, and he wouldn’t have known about the curse.

but remember when the released the wraith, it was at the same place that they found Emma and Mary M. Which means that they came through the same time as the wraith. So, Isn’t it safe to assume that everything happened in Storybrooke, before Emma, Mary Margret, and the Wraith came through?

Ooh! And maybe that could also explain why Mulan was blaming them for bringing the wraith! At least I think she was. I was talking to my friend during that part so I only heard half of it…
hannah97ParticipantI don’t think Dr. Whale will be the new threat, however I completely agree that they need one. With Rumple and Regina becoming more and more vulnerable, they need another bad guy to scare everyone again. Perhaps the mysterious man we saw in the beginning? Then again, he didn’t strike me as a very threatening person.

But they said how they were in a part of the forest that had been untouched. Does that mean that they weren’t touched by the curse at all and that time just froze? or that they were aware of all of the events happening. Also, the timeline seems to be very off from Storybrooke’s timeline. When the wraith was released into fairy tail land, was when the sent it into the hat in Storybrooke.
Maybe… or maybe there’s more than one wraith. 😮
Good theory, but it’s only one medallion, or is it? Has anyone had a chance to look back and see if it’s the same medallion? But if it’s just one medallion, than that would lead me to believe that the medallion was the “lamp” so to say, of the wraith and one one was trapped in it. After it got the soul of the marked, it would just return to it’s medallion.
I’m fairly sure the medallions were identical, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re the same. It could be like every wraith has one of the medallions and there are several of them, all with the same symbol. I like the idea that it’s like the genie’s lamp. Maybe if you control the medallion you control the wraith? Unless you’re marked of course…
