I think it was really awesome, and I loved the fact that Emma has magic (I think?) My only problem with the episode was that everything felt a little rushed to me…
[adrotate group="5"]hannah97ParticipantYeah, my guess is that Phillip and Mulan were living in a similar state to those in Storybrook, trapped in time and in a haze until Emma caused time to move again. Then they realized what happened and began aging again and Phillip and Mulan could begin searching for Aurora.

I know what you are saying because Henry was already on his way, but i disagree that there is completely no magic. Emma clearly causes things to happen. Gold remembers. The clock ticks. The cave falls in. Emma caused those things to happen, so there is no reason that she might not have caused other things to happen as well.
True… but all those things were in Storybrooke, not Boston or wherever Emma was. And I’m pretty sure the only reason those things happened were because Emma was weakening the curse, not necessarily because she was “using magic”. As Regina said, the only magic there was in the things she brought with her from the Enchanted Forest.

And i think that even Emma blowing out the candle on her birthday makes Henry be there.
As cool as that would be, I have to argue that Henry showing up just as Emma made that wish is just a coincidence. There’s just no way. Henry had already been on his way to find her, and as we all know there is no magic in this world. (Not yet anyway) 🙂
hannah97ParticipantWell my favorite character on lost was Claire, but she’s already on as Belle. I guess I would have gone with Daniel Dae Kim then, not that I have any idea who he could play.
hannah97ParticipantRegina is a complicated person. Sometimes I really feel sympathetic towards her, but then she makes an evil decision and I hate her again. She’s got a lot of anger built up inside her, and I think that it overpowers her love, because she does love Henry. Even though she hurts him sometimes, it’s only because she wants him to herself. So yes, she does love him, but as we all know, she has an empty space in her heart that can never be filled, so her love for Henry is buried by her need to fill that hole through vengeance on Snow White.

hannah97ParticipantI think they’re going to do a lot more focusing on Emma/Snow than Emma/Charming, mainly because in general mother/daughter relationships are a lot stronger than father/daughter relationships. Now maybe that’s just the way it is for me, maybe I’m a terrible person for not being that close to my dad, I don’t know. Also, because Emma and Mary knew each other before they’re going to have a better base for starting a new relationship, and I think when Emma interacts with her dad she’ll mainly be just trying to get to know him a little better.
hannah97ParticipantCan’t wait!
hannah97ParticipantI wish it were sooner, but I’m just glad it’s in September. I’m losing my cable in October…. 🙁
