She has to figure out sometime that she’s been played from the very beginning. First by her mom, now Rumple.
Yeah I imagine she’s gonna be really upset when she realizes it. Either that or sad. Or angry. It depends on how much she’s progressed between now and then.

Oh so that’s what he was saying. I knew it started with an ‘s’ but I couldn’t quite make it out.
Also, the ruby slippers are only ‘ruby’ in the movie, they’re silver slippers in the book.Oh yeah, I hadn’t thought of that. So, if they did do the Wizard of Oz in Once, would the slippers be Ruby or Silver? I could see people being really upset if they were ruby, but then again it won’t exactly be the same if they’re silver. It would probably be easier not to show them at all, but then I would be sad…
Oh! I just had a random thought! That crystal ball the Jefferson got for Rumple really reminded me of the one that’s in the Wizard of Oz movie. Not saying there’s a connection, just pointing out the similarities.

At some point she’s bound to find out and she’ll begin to hate Jefferson. The only question is, does she find out before or after she strands him in Wonderland? From what we say in Hat Trick, she didn’t seem like she had a whole lot of animosity towards him, but was more manipulative than anything. Then we find out that she made his curse different than everyone else’s by causing him to remember. So, either something happened between the events in Hat Trick and the casting of the curse, or Regina is a really good actress to hide her hatred for Jefferson and not even tell him about it as she strands him in another world.
Yeah, I’m going with something happens after she strands him.

In the book, Victor has two brothers. william is more emphasized than ernest. william is killed by the monster (but he’s 5 years old) They could change the tale and make william older, and change his death cause (maybe victor accidentally killed him with his experiments and wants to bring him back?).
Other than that, there’s Henry Clerval, Victor’s best friend. I could see the writers changing it to ‘brother’.
Those are my two based-off-the-book theories. I am curious.Yeah, I read that book earlier this year. William and Henry Clerval were both killed by the monster, and Ernest was the only one that survived in the novel. Maybe they’re going to take all three of those characters and combine them? Or they could create an entirely new character. Honestly, they could go anywhere with this. I only have one real based-on-the-book theory/question. Are we going to see Dr. Frankenstein’s wife? In the book, they had grown up together and he married her after he created the monster. Then the monster murdered her that very night. I’m kind of hoping that in Once he will have a wife and we’ll get to see her, but whether or not she’s still alive is completely up in the air.
hannah97Participant*gasp* Oh my gosh, he said slippers?!?!?! I knew he said something, but I couldn’t quite make it out. That is really awesome…. It makes me wonder if those slippers are going to be important later on, and if some of the characters are eventually going to take a trip to Oz. (My fingers are crossed that Regina becomes the misunderstood Wicked Witch of the West, kind of like Elphaba in the musical Wicked.)
hannah97ParticipantBy the way, Emma does NOT look like she’s 17-18 years old.

Also, now thinking about it, didn’t his world look and sound like something from a Tim Burton film. 🙂
Ya know, it did. While I was watching it I was freaking out because it was basically black and white, with a little bit of blue thrown in there.
And am I the only one who laughed when I first heard Victor’s Fairy Tale Land accent?
hannah97ParticipantYay! Thanks for posting this. While I was watching this, my tv froze up and I missed half the promo. I was freaking out!

I think they gave us a clue to who else he was. He is also the Wizard of OZ. Thus why he was being called the wizard. He will use science in OZ to fool everyone into beleiving he is a wizard.
Ooh, that’s a good theory. I hadn’t thought of that! Although, I kind of want the Mystery Man/Neal Cassady to be the Wizard of Oz, but that does make a lot of sense.
hannah97ParticipantOh my gosh, that was killing me! I kept saying to the tv, “Come on, show us his face, show us his face!” But it never happened. 🙁 Anyway, that leads me to believe that we will eventually see him again, they just haven’t cast the character yet. After all, Dr. Whale still wants to try again, which means his body is still out there somewhere.
