Yea, that was pretty sad I didn’t remember what Snow and David told Emma at the line tell I rewatched it if want to see it is at mark 7.39

Because Hook is a series regular and there are still a lot of uncertainties about his backstory. For instance, we have yet to see the story he told Baelfire about his father. We don’t even know which kingdom Killian Jones and his brother came from. We also know next to nothing about his years as a pirate prior to or after meeting Milha.
David and Emma are both series regulars/leads and we where told this Season we would learn more about them. There is a lot we don’t know about David too.
Why are we learning more about Hook, then David’s father back ground I thought we are suppose to learn more about David’s history and Emma’s this season but instead seem to back tracking in my opinion.
David Goodman wrote “Think Lovely Thoughts” about how Malcolm abandoned his son Rumple. I think David was selected to write the story of how Killian Jones’ father abandoned him.
Oh, good grief another abandoned child I hope not :
