Heart of DarknessParticipant
So far we have: 1. The Dark Curse 2. Magic Wardrobe 3. Magic Bean 4. Mermaid 5. Rabbit Hole 6. Silver Slippers and 7. Sorcerer’s Door. I wonder if we’ll make it to 10 before the show’s over?
Also added to that list are 8. the tornado that initially brought Dorothy from Kansas to Oz, as well as brought baby Zelena from the EF to Oz 9. the looking glasses which took Cora, Will and Anastasia from the Enchanted Forest to Wonderland and 10. the shadow which takes children to Neverland from both the Enchanted Forest (Roland/Neal) as well as from A Land Without Magic (Baelfire/Wendy). Now we have at least 10 different means of transportation between various realms, not including Jefferson’s hat.
The list was specifically about methods to get to the Land Without Magic.
The tornado is only known to bring people to Oz from other realms, not the other way around. Looking glasses only transport you to Wonderland and back. Wendy (and Alice) lived in a fictional Victorian England that has magic, not the Land Without Magic.
[adrotate group="5"]Heart of DarknessParticipantThe door is way too easy. Jefferson’s hat couldn’t travel to a land without magic, yet this door could? I find that to be inconsistent. Maybe there is some explanation like the door was made of the same enchanted wood as the magic wardrobe was and therefore could create a portal to our world. But if that is the case, it should’ve been explained in the show itself.. It would take less than 20 seconds to explain, but instead is left unexplained. The magic door that travels to A Land Without magic now seems like a major plot device. Also, Rumple’s lack of knowledge about said door makes him look short-sighted. He went through all that trouble to create a dark curse to find his son, and now we learn he could’ve just used a door? Ok, then.
It seems Jefferson’s hat is pretty much the only thing that can’t travel to the Land Without Magic.

Heart of DarknessParticipantThis is something that made me upset. When Rumple had the hat, he could’ve easily poofed it off back to his mansion; went to retrieve it after dealing with Anna; went back to get it; then make a deal with the Sorcerer to GET TO OUR WORLD. The Rumple through the past three seasons would’ve done this! This makes total illogical sense.
Rumple wouldn’t give up the hat to go through the door. He could just bring it with him to our world using the dark curse.
November 14, 2014 at 4:47 pm in reply to: TVFanatic Nov 14: Lana Parrilla on Regina's Struggle And More #290180Heart of DarknessParticipantand you will also see Regina and Gold again and they have a beautiful conversation together in her car. He comes in and they just start chatting it up and there’s a beautiful kinship between them, a friendship, an old sort of familial bond between them that everyone will see shortly.
Definitely doesn’t sound like Regina is the one Rumple needs to make the Sorcerer’s Hat work.
Heart of DarknessParticipantCurrent theory: you need the heart of the thing you HATE most. This is to break the hold of the Dark One’s Curse, then it’s going to require something really big and vile.
The heart of the thing you hate most was actually a necessary ingredient in a curse Regina was going to cast in “Welcome to Storybrooke”: the curse of the empty-hearted, which can supposedly make a person think they love you.
So it’s definitely something that could be used in dark curses.
Heart of DarknessParticipant“She said she’s going to get reed of her magic.”
Heart of DarknessParticipantI really hope this isn’t their way of trying to fix the Rumbelle relationship.
“Look, Rumple might’ve lied about the dagger, killed Zelena, forced Hook into his servitude, withheld information on Anna and the Snow Queen and sucked an old man into the Sorcerer’s Hat…. But Belle tried to control him, so they’re even!”
Heart of DarknessParticipantFirst thought was AGAIN? It seems like this is all villains want
Yeah this was my first reaction. Apart from Pan, it’s sorta the same old, same old. Regina, felt unloved, did bad things. Rumple, felt unloved, did bad things Cora, felt unloved, did bad things. Zelena, felt unloved, did bad things (SQ and Zelena especially seem alike in this regard)
Cora was just power-hungry. Lack of love never motivated her into doing bad things. After all, “Love is weakness”.
Jonathan never loved her. And when she learned that she did bad things. Even though she didn’t love him either. And her father, from what we know, wasn’t exactly father of the year and it turned her hard.
By “bad things” you mean tricking Leopold? She just wanted to marry into royalty, as was the case with Jonathan. She could’ve felt love with Zelena, but decided to abandon her so she could have another go at the marrying a prince thing. Then there was Rumple, but she chose power and ripped out her heart.
Her father’s behavior probably affected her, yes, but I think more about the fact that he was a lazy bum and she had to do all the work. That coupled with the fact that they were so poor is probably what made her thirst for power and riches.

Heart of DarknessParticipantI thought it was weird how the mirror was somehow magical without Sidney in it. I mean, Sidney wasn’t confined to a specific mirror, he could travel between them as he liked. Are all of the mirrors he showed up in filled with magic?
And why did they make it sound like Regina had imprisoned Sidney back in EF? It was the wish he made, not dark magic.
