Yeah it was cool and all but it doesn’t really work with anything that’s been previously established.
[adrotate group="5"]Maybe Emma manipulates Hook into killing Merlin, so then Hook’s name appears on the sword. Does this mean that Hook gets Merlin’s magic? If he does, it would be light magic. So the union of Emma and Hook could bring balance to the force… you know what i mean. I’m eager to see how this plays out.
Merlin is probably already dead, considering the whole voice mail thing and the sword piece lacking his name.
And I don’t think the magic would automatically be light magic. If he gave into the darkness then the magic would become dark like what happened with Nimue.
Is Emma still tethered, by the way? I don’t think her name was on the completed sword.

So Vortigan really was the Dark One we saw in Dreamcatcher. How does Nimue play into this, then? Is Vortigan the second Dark One after killing Nimue like I theorized earlier? Or does Nimue really have nothing to do with the darkness, against all expectations…?

I googled the actor’s name and he seems to be a young kid. I wonder if he was around before Merlin got trapped in a tree or if Merlin just appeared to him later like he did to young Emma.

The names I can read are: Emma, Rumple, Zoso, and Gorgon (which I suppose is the creature that Head!Rumpel turned into in episode 1 of the season. Who knew animals could be dark ones?) and there is also something along the lines of Dragonkiu or something. I guess it is counting backwards to the first dark one.
I took a look at the name-switching frame by frame and it’s only Emma Swan, Rumplestiltskin, Zoso and Gorgon.
It just mixes up the letters from those four when it scrolls. What seems like Dragonkin was G from Gorgon partly visible, part of m and a from Emma, gon from Gorgon and kin from Rumplestiltskin.
^ On the one hand, I’m glad to see Zelena take responsibility for killing Neal. On the other hand, why is she bringing up that event again now?
Sounds like she’s using it as an argument for whatever Emma doesn’t believe.
Maybe that there’s things that can’t be forgiven or that they can’t ever get along or something.
While I see the potential parallel being made, Emma said everyone except Henry had failed her. So maybe Henry is the only one who believed in her enough to see her plan through that he offered her his heart, believing she’d save him like Snow saved David. Emma using her son’s heart is still pretty dark though, so she’d be motivated to remove everyone’s memories of the event.

Given that the show is going to be exploring an LGBT relationship at some point, and given that Merida didn’t want to get married in Brave, is there a possibility there could be more between Mulan and Merida?
Absolutely not. I was actually on Instagram the other day and there were some of the fans discussing that. It’s better just to say what I know about that. But there’s talk within the episode of a past relationship, like you said, but not for my character.
