Heart of DarknessParticipant
What if Nimue was the first Dark One and this is the second (“Vortigan”)?
Maybe Merlin tried to get Nimue to let go of the darkness, but before that could happen, Vortigan killed her and became the next Dark One. And maybe Vortigan was Merlin’s friend or something which would explain why he couldn’t kill him. I mean, if this is Nimue, then it’s gonna feel a bit odd if she was just killed and succeeded by a random DO we never hear about.
But it probably is Nimue cause that’s the kind of thing they would do.
[adrotate group="5"]Heart of DarknessParticipantI mean, couldn’t she simply have asked Violet to cooperate first, and then taken her heart if she refused?
Then again, even if Violet had initially agreed, there was no guarantee she’d actually go through with it…
Heart of DarknessParticipantSomething I completely forgot about. We saw a similar use of tear magic back in “The Apprentice.” Rumple empowered his dagger with Anna’s tear to break Merlin’s enchantment protecting the hat.
So, going by this “using the venom to make the anti-venom” logic, could it be possible that the enchantment was also cast with a similar tear (belonging to someone who faced their inner darkness, and turned away)?
Heart of DarknessParticipantGonna copy what I said in another thread:
Emma looking relatively normal would seem to suggest that it was the Dark Curse. Shouldn’t she be in full Dark One mode otherwise? We saw her hand start turn gold after she used dark magic to heal Robin so it’s not like she just “lucked out” like she initially stated. Also, the town line thing.
Heart of DarknessParticipantFrom Wikipedia:
“Avalon is a legendary island featured in the Arthurian legend. It first appears in Geoffrey of Monmouth’s 1136 pseudohistorical account Historia Regum Britanniae (“The History of the Kings of Britain”) as the place where King Arthur’s sword Excalibur was forged and later where Arthur was taken to recover from his wounds after the Battle of Camlann. Avalon was associated from an early date with mystical practices and people such as Morgan le Fay.”
Heart of DarknessParticipantIf Emma goes to the Underworld, then I hope 5B won’t be about the others going to save her. That’s what this half of the season was supposed to be. It’d be repetition.
Heart of DarknessParticipantI don’t think Emma cast the Dark Curse….I think she just cast a memory curse like Zelena did
Yeah, I don’t think we have any reason to think Emma casted the dark curse. I just assumed it was a curse in general. BUT in order to get everyone back to SB, wouldn’t she need the dark curse? So that could be it as Regina/Snow/Charming casted it to get back to SB in S3….BUT that was to recreate SB since they completely undid it…. Idk. I think Emma just magicked them all back somehow and took their memories. That would ignore the fact that Rumpel as the dark one could not do that but *shrug*

Heart of DarknessParticipantWhose going to die?
PRAYER CIRCLE FOR RUBY, Y’ALL. PRAYER. FLIPPING. CIRCLE.
But wouldn’t the characters be wondering where Ruby is back in present day Storybrooke? Even if we assume the curse erased their memories of her, the people who didn’t go to Camelot would remember her.
Heart of DarknessParticipantSo once again, so long as Regina gets what she wants, who cares about anyone else. I think Zelena should get to keep the baby and escape back to Oz.
More like “So long as Regina gets what she wants, who cares about her crazy psychopathic destructive sister who masqueraded as a woman she killed to sleep with Regina’s love interest so she could get pregnant and ruin their relationship.” Shame on Regina for not being more understanding.
And frankly I’d feel sorry for the people of Oz if Zelena ever got back there.
Heart of DarknessParticipantWhat, the Apprentice was alive? I thought he was the permanent death in the finale, but I guess he had one more plot device left to give.
So did he actually die this time?
