Re #3, to me it feels like nothing more than the writers feeling like they had to acknowledge the elephant in the room and make up a reason for why he won’t be seen again.
It’s perfectly logical.
I don’t know where people got the impression that the Author can break the rules of magic in the first place.
[adrotate group="5"]Ok, so this Author’s quill and ink can only change the past that it created and A&E have confirmed that Isaac did not write Rumple & Bae’s earlier story. For me that says that there’s still hope for the future. If the quill and ink used to originally write Rumple & Bae’s past still exists somewhere, surely they can be used again to change Rumple & Bae’s past.
Unless the Author of that story meddled as well, the quill didn’t create that past, only recorded it.
“This quill and ink can only change a past it has created.”
What does that mean? That the events the Author wrote into existence can be changed/undone? I guess that would be a way to move the potential for darkness back to Emma.
So judging by that bestseller, was Isaac’s entire goal simply to get an interesting story so he could become an acclaimed writer?
I think Cora will remain dead, but Regina and Zelena will have different memories of her.
Perhaps the story will be that Snow killed her?
Knight Rumple fighting against a dragon? That would mean that Mal and/or Lily haven’t become heroes.
Yeah, I’m guessing the Author can’t actually change the past or bring people back from the dead.
This’ll be sort of like the curse, they’ll be thrown into another realm/universe with altered memories and personalities.
Maybe the potential seeps from Lily to Emma every time they interact?
Hence “things are brighter” for Lily when they’re together, but the opposite for Emma.
So I guess Rumple will now somehow take the ink from Cruella’s body?
The author was still able to write after the Cruella events.
Yeah, but right now he’s out of ink.
Rumple said he “plans to obtain some very soon” and that “everything [he] needs shall fall into place” once Emma’s heart is darkened. Definitely makes me think he’ll get it from Cruella.
