I’m beginning to think those first promo shots were sabatoge. Everything else from those shoots were good but they released the ones with the worst pictures of all. Makes you wonder why when they had those wonderful headshots.

Hmmm, conspiracy theories? I wonder if the folks from Scandal had anything to do with it….their pics were pretty awesome last fall, LOL 😆 😉 😀

I didn’t mean his shoes were actually untied, just that I thought his pants being bunched up around his loose shoes made him look young. From the knees up, I love his look.

His shoes aren’t untied, they have a zipper on the inseam and they’re unzipped. I’d love the pic more if his pants weren’t tucked into the shoe as is makes his legs look shorter. IMO, it’s a sloppy look, and he’s a VERY handsome guy. I Love his sweater though, it looks soft to snuggle up to. He just looks cuddly, honest and sweet.

Cuddly, honest, and sweet….I think we have fun new words to describe MRJ now. 😉

I agree that the look appears slightly sloppy but I’m kind of with Ranisha here in that I think they did that on purpose. Both he and Emma seem to have aspects of their photos that make them look lost (his shoes, her slightly raggy shirt) and I think it adds to their characters that in a lot of ways, even though they’re both adults now and obviously can function that way in most circumstances, deep inside they’re both still those lost children trying to find a family and somewhere to belong. I have no concrete evidence proving this or anything (and quite frankly, if ABC took these who knows if they would actually put that much thought into it, LOL) but that’s my impression of them and I’m sticking with it. 😀

Love this casting! He was great on Lost and I think he’ll do a wonderful job here too. IIRC, he’s also from my hometown (Cincinnati) so this is very cool news all around for me. Thanks for the update! 😀

Someone posted elsewhere that they should have tied Neal’s shoelaces but they look perfectly fine to me (though they are tied with big loops so maybe that’s what they were seeing). I really only posted this random comment so I could post this picture again, LOL 😉

Haha! You guys are so awesome and that one picture definitely gives off that vibe! “You wanna grab a burger…or a beer…or just we could just stay here and make out on the couch…” 😉

I love how all three of them seem to just go together so well too. No one will ever convince me that this wasn’t done intentionally because there’s too much photographic evidence. I also love the fact that Neal has his hand in his pocket (probably holding a certain pendant) while Emma is carrying Bae’s sword. 😀

These amazing photos are total proof that the ABC media and marketing departments are run by flying monkeys who don’t know what the heck they’re doing. Massive missed opportunity. 🙁
