AHHHH, I love this theory too! I hope you’re onto something there because, besides answering a whole bunch of long standing questions, those last scenes would be so awesome to see unfold on screen. Mick’s theory for the win!!!! 😀

BTW-I miss the official podcasts too but I bet the guys just didn’t have time to do them this year with OUAT and Wonderland going on at the same time. Maybe they’ll try to bring them back in S3 part two though since WL will be over by then. Hoping! 🙂
#MoreBOOMLessGloomI adored the movie Return to Oz so I’m on board if they use things from it! Excited to get some confirmation that Oz is coming (although most of us guessed it would be coming soon anyway) and hopefully they lay the groundwork for things in this second part of S3 using flashbacks with S4 being the REAL trip to Oz to hopefully beat up on a bad guy or two. Glad I’m not the only one looking forward to flying monkeys too! 😉
#MoreBOOMLessGloomI am totally on board with a SwanFire reunion scene in the hospital because I think Jen and MRJ would totally kill those scenes, but I’m not totally on board with watching Neal suffer yet another crappy thing happening to him, so I kind of hope he’s not on the gurney because him being hurt means my emotions will be on overdrive again. I’m also concerned that they may have Neal be the “David” from S1 who was in a coma for three episodes and then woke up without ANY of his memories and having both Neal and Emma lose memories in the same season is WAY too much overkill for me. I hope the writers are more creative than that but I worry about things like this anyway. I seriously have nothing left to give writers…please don’t break me emotionally again!
As far as the Michael Coleman stuff from Twitter last night (sorry I’m just now getting to post this….I was away from my desk and am just now reading here), I honestly can’t figure out what he did wrong that made so many people mad and I am severely disappointed in the group of Oncers who decided Michael would be their punching bag last night. I’ve chatted with him via Twitter a couple of times now and he is such a lovely and wonderful man. He doesn’t deserve to have so much vile and hatred directed towards him just because he doesn’t ship what you ship (good on him for not shipping anything) and I’m sad that that happened to him last night. Personally I don’t think Lana or Adam should have had to tweet anything but the fact that they did only tells me one thing…the hatred moved to them and they had to do something about it. This fandom is SO MUCH BETTER than this sort of crap and I wish some people would take their shipper goggles off and just ENJOY THE SHOW. 😥

Thank you for posting happy things today even though I can’t see most of them at work. I will definitely watch them when I get home later. It’s the holiday season…it’s time to celebrate and be festive so live it up everyone!!!! 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀

Same. And it baffles me when people say that I only love Neal because he’s Bae. It’s not true. I don’t love Neal just because he is also Baelfire, the cute heroic kid. I don’t love him just because he is Rumple’s son or Henry’s father. To me that’s like saying that people only love Hook because Colin looks good in leather and eyeliner. I love Neal because of who he is, his very self. I love his heart and his courage. I love his strength and his sense of humor. I love that the second he knew he was a father, he was determined to break the cycle of abandonment. I love how he continually makes sacrifices for others–Wendy, the Darlings, Emma, and Henry. He gave up his shot at a happy ending so that Emma could have hers and yeah it sucked but fate is a cruel mistress. People hate Neal not because he is a villain but because of how human he is. It’s easy to love the villains because while we can empathize with them, we can never fully be them. I may understand Rumple’s deep self loathing and thinking that he is unlovable (that’s me a to a T) but I can’t understand murder in the name of power. Same with Regina and Hook. But everyone knows what it’s like to hurt someone you love. Neal is a reminder of the frailty of humankind, how close we all are to hurting each other everyday. He hold us a mirror to ourselves and asks to think about the our own choices. And I love hm for that. I love his humanity. In other news, I was thinking. 8:15 and Charely’s Girl wake up Emma. Literally, wake her up. Both things are associated with Neal. It’s almost like Neal himself trying to wake her up out of a curse but failing only because he himself is not there.
Preach. You hit the nail on the head with those reasons and I’m right there with you on all of them. I can relate to Neal in SUCH a huge way (the loneliness and aching for family, trying to figure out where I belong in this world) and I can also relate to Emma in many ways (I pretty much grew up w/o my dad and have been trying to reconcile that for years) which is probably why I ship them so hard to be together. IMO, Neal is such a complex character in how many things he’s been through and in having so much emotional baggage but at the same time, he wants such simple things out of life: home, family, love, belonging, hope. It’s an amazing contrast and I honestly don’t understand how people can root against him finding these things after everything he’s suffered through in his life.
It makes me sadder and sadder every single day when I realize how much of the Oncer fandom has reduced this show to the Triangle of Doom. As much as I love rooting for Emma & Neal, I haven’t forgotten the rest of the characters and still want to see what happens to them. I’ve always cared about Snowing, Rumple and Belle are wonderful, and I do want to see Hook stop being a weenie and become the guy we know he can be. And Regina, for me at least, is someone I’ve always had issues with overall but her redemption in 3×11 was absolutely fantastic and I now care much more about her and have hope that she can be happy someday too. This show is NOT just about the Triangle and I wish more people could remember that. 🙁

Fierce family is FIERCE! Neal’s like, “Pan, please….we got this won punk” and Emma is about to open up a can on the immature and bratty teenager. I also love that Henry grabs an arm from both of his moms. And seriously, when Regina is the one who looks the least threatening in a photo you KNOW the other parents mean something REALLY fierce!! 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
#MoreBOOMLessGloomScene I now really want to see when the show comes back in March (spoilered out since part of this is from the promo): Neal and the others arrive back in the EF after the smoke clears and are a little shell shocked to be home again (Snow’s sad realization that “we’re back” still gives me a tear). Snow and Charming want to make a plan to go to their castle, Hook wants to look for the JR, Regina is devastated over losing Henry but wonders about her castle, the others are unsure of what to do, and Belle looks around wondering about Rumple’s castle….all the while Neal just stands there alone not able to move much. He gets an odd look on his face and looks down as he realizes that he’s clenching something in his hand. He opens up his fist and realizes that he was clenching the swan pendant when the curse hit and he finally tears up realizing that it’s all he has left of Emma and his family is now gone. Snow sees that Neal is broken and that Belle is totally devastated and she asks them to come with her and David to their castle for a while because “we’re family and we can help each other through our shared grief”. I want to see them take care of each other because they’re ALL grieving for their loved ones and I wouldn’t be able to take it if he ends up alone again. I know this is a total tearjerker moment (if it actually happens) but I think it would go a LONG way towards making people truly realize the heartbreak that is Neal’s life. He literally has just had his entire world fall apart for like the 4th time (at least) and he’s had so much heartbreak in so many different ways that he has to be almost numb to it by now. 😥
After typing all that out, I REALLY NEED THIS TO HAPPEN even though it might break me down emotionally for days! 😉

I love all the pretty things that I’m now able to see again since I’m home from work. The random BTS shot of Colin, Jen, and MRJ having coffee while on set just makes my heart happy! I wonder if that cast/crew alone is keeping Starbucks busy in Vancouver, LOL 😉 Anyway, pretty things are totally awesome and I keep looking for things every night. I’m hoping I’ll finally have my emotions under control this weekend so I can finally go back and watch the “See You Again” video because I love the song but it has a very emotional place in my heart. One of my very best friends lost her dad to cancer earlier this year and that song was a huge comfort for her and her mom so it makes me cry thinking about him. I just got teary again typing that out so maybe I won’t be watching that video this weekend after all. 😮
