Emma wouldn’t have gone to Tallahassee and stayed for so long if she didn’t believe in him and believe in what they shared together. It’s all there inside her to just let go and be with him again but the hurts are overwhelming her right now (just like they did Neal when he was scared to go find her because he didn’t want to be rejected by her) and she’s scared of what could happen. She’s afraid to hope for a happy ending for them because they’ve missed out on that twice now (I count prior to the portal as a possible happy ending because Neal finally saw Tamara as the twit she was and Emma finally learned that Neal regretted leaving her every single day) and she can’t handle even the thought of losing him again. Fear is an overwhelming emotion and she’s gonna have to get past that in order to really grasp onto her happy ending. Emma is such a strong person that I firmly believe she’s going to somehow work through things and eventually see that she and Neal can actually be happy together even if the world around them goes to crap in a hand basket (which is probably will since this is OUAT and they love to stir up crap, LOL).  /end rambling
I’m SO anxious for the episode this weekend. I’ll miss the first few minutes since I have youth group (weather permitting) but I’ll be on here later in the evening once I get caught up to chat, hopefully gush, and of course lament about the long hiatus with you guys!

BTW-Totally random but a figure skater that I’m friends with in real life wished me a happy birthday on Twitter today and also posted she hoped it was ‘magical and that all my #SwanFire dreams come true”. 😀 She’s a fellow Oncer and considering she posted something about CS a few weeks ago, I thought that was amazingly sweet and surprising of her to put that SF reference in her tweet! Wonder if I can change her mind about things when I see her in Boston next month for US Nats….hmmmm. 😉 *plots and plans* 😉
#MoreBOOMLessGloomI agree. I won’t expect too much, but it feels like the second chance they set up is with Emma and Neal–but who knows. In a weird way the way they downplayed it makes me think it all the more.
Yeah, I’m suspicious of the quieter way they released this poster which I think means one of two things. One, that they finally got wind of something Neal related that happens this week and were always planning to release this poster now to set things up for it, or two, they kept it low key because while they don’t want to alienate their SwanFire fans, they also don’t want to tick off the loud CSers by making a big deal about it this week. It could be a combination of both but I seriously hope they don’t look at the online fandoms alone for these types of things because we are NOT the majority in the overall OUAT fandom. We’re only like, 10% of it so while some things get really annoying for us,I think there are many Joe and Jane Schmoes out there who aren’t posting on a OUAT message board and are probably rooting for Neal to get a happy ending with Emma.
Meh, I’m not gonna be negative anymore…we finally got the poster and it’s THE SAME ONE. 😀 😀 😀 That has to mean something and I can’t wait to find out! At this point I am going to be really upset if we never see that Swan pendant again. You just know Neal didn’t get rid of it after Emma gave it back to him in NYC. I have this awesome image in my head of him giving it back to her as a promise that he’ll always love her, and her telling him that wearing it all those years wasn’t really to remind her not to trust people….she wore it as a reminder of what it felt like to be truly loved by someone. 🙂

BTW-Never read comments on FB because people are total tools. I commented to the OUAT one to let them know that I appreciated them finally releasing this and that I’m hoping for Neal to get his happy ending. Haters gonna hate but I’m gonna post anyway and shut you down, LOL 😉

I can’t help going there but the facts are the facts and I know my Jen facts! I honestly have no idea what this all could mean on the SF front but it’s interesting that she was also rather excited about Tallahassee last year (and for the record, while he was in it too, that episode was more about Neal & Emma’s history than anyone else). 😉

That speech was wonderful and finding out later that he actually made it to fake Henry really tore me up. Honestly, having Fake Henry be present for all the reunions really lessoned the impact of them for me (aside from the Rumbelle, Nealfire/Darlings, and Snow pointing out Regina being part of the heroism, none of which involved Fake Henry). I agree that there is no way in h-e-double hockey sticks that Neal would have left Emma if he’d known she was pregnant. I’m still hoping that we get more backstory on what happened to Neal after he left her because A&E both said that he’s not the one who sent her to jail and that we don’t know yet what all happened with him. I really want to see those scenes and with the comments that those guys made about it, rather recently I might add, that story better be something that we get to see VERY soon! 🙂
