YAY!!! I have OUAT on my TV! The weather guy finally stopped talking and I get to watch Once! Hope the rest of you are safe and able to watch tonight! Going off the board for a while so I don’t get spoiled by anything. 😉

#MoreBOOMLessGloomSeems like the worst of the weather missed my area but the local weather people won’t shut up and I still don’t have regular programming back on TV yet. If they ramble all night long about these stupid storms (i.e. stuff they can give me on the 11 PM news), then I am going to be seriously peeved and will be going on a serious rant in every form of social media I can find. I swear they’re talking just to hear themselves talk now and IT HAS TO STOP. 🙁 (Props to my local Fox affiliate who has only interrupted regular programming for warnings and new information…they’re the only local broadcast network to do that today.)

I’m a little anxious about tonight and not just because I want SF stuff so badly. I’m right in the path of all those midwest storms that went through Illinois and are going through Indiana right now. I’m worried not only about our power staying on (it’s all ready been off once today) but I have to drive to youth group between 6-6:30 PM and that’s right in the middle of the bad weather time. Please send good thoughts to my area this afternoon and evening that we don’t get hit as bad as they keep saying because some of the pictures I’ve seen in IL and IN are pretty darn scary. 😮 (Shallow Note: I really don’t want to have to wait until tomorrow night to watch OUAT so I’m more anxious than I want to be about our power going off again.)

I thought they would deactivate it after the show ended but it’s still out there!)
That’s a great way to put it about Neal being in Emma’s life in two different ways. He connects to the fairytale even though his time there was different from her parents but he grew up mainly in our world which is the only world she knew until her visit to FT land last season. He really is the character that knows her the best and she’s definitely the one who knows Neal the best (even though she’s still learning new things about him in Neverland). I really hope the writers haven’t forgotten that fact in the midst of all this Triangle of Doom stuff.

I never watched LOST. What exactly do you mean by a constant in this context? Do you mean a person who is always there for someone else?
I think that is it. Once Emma sees that Neal will always be there no matter what and can be dependable, her walls will begin to come down again for him, I think.
Yeah, that’s pretty good. A constant on Lost was the one person who grounded you in reality (there was this whole time shifting thing on the island that is way too complicated to explain here) and was also your connection to knowing who you truly were no matter which time you were in. For Lost, Penny was Desmond’s constant who helped him break that time shifting thing and grounded him back into his current reality on the island. It’s not inaccurate to describe Neal that way for Emma although without the time shifting thing, it doesn’t quite make as much sense in context, LOL 😆

I’m more and more intrigued with every thing I see or read about this episode and I can’t wait to see it all unfold. Rumple’s back story just gets sadder and sadder and it does make you understand the character better when you see stuff like that. This may be a 4 hanky night for me! 🙁
Agree with those complimenting MRJ too. He totally gets Neal and I LOVE HIM SO MUCH for that. Why ABC seems to forget he’s around sometimes I will never understand because IMO, he and Neal are just awesome and too huge a part of the show now to ignore all the time. <3

BTW-Emma was wearing a big red scarf when she ran into Neal in Manhattan. What does it mean? I think it just means Emma likes the color red. 😉
Seriously, fan interpretation is going to drive us all nuts through this upcoming winter break and that goes for every single person in the fandom, LOL 😆
