Excited that I don’t have anything going on this evening so I get to watch OUAT in real time without having to go back and watch the first part later. 🙂 I’m usually busy until about 8 PM so I always have to go back and watch those first 20 minutes after Revenge, but tonight I am FREE all evening and super excited about it! I’m also exhausted from not sleeping much all weekend so we’ll see how both of those things work together tonight, LOL 😆

Oh my goodness, those first two pictures are insanely amazing!! The rest of them are great too but dang, those facial expressions from Jared and MRJ are incredible.  The casting on this show is BRILLIANT! 😀

I haven’t gotten a chance to watch last night’s episode yet (all I do is go out of town on the weekends apparently…this is two in a row for me, LOL) but I feel the need to say two things. One, I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH. I swear I feel like the collective OUAT fandom has lost their minds most days but then I come here and you guys are all sane and lovely and practical I feel like I’m in my own personal Tallahassee. THANK YOU for being so awesome! *passes out cookies* 😀

 

Second, my least favorite shape EVER is a triangle (probably stemming from taking Geometry in high school and hating all those proofs I had to do with them along with the annoying insistence of writers to keep throwing them into all my fave TV shows) and it annoys me to NO END to see ABC,  the media, and a crap load of the OUAT fandom focusing so much on a stupid, barely there, triangle when clearly this show is about SO MUCH MORE than Emma’s love life and I REALLY wish they hadn’t stooped to the ‘triangle’ level like so many other shows have done in the past (or present in the case of a few now). I expect better stuff out of Eddie & Adam but after reading some of your speculations, a handful of light spoilers, and knowing things that have all ready happened on the show, I’m hopeful that the overall story of season three will NOT be about that triangle but will go back to how these characters developed and grew over the season, learned to work together, learned to forgive each other, and eventually helped save each other from the ultimate villain. THAT would make this the best season ever. <3

 

/end rant.....I'm off to eat some cookies now. 😉

Those poems are awesome! You guys are so creative. I want to be all of you when I grow up, LOL 😀 (BTW-I’m going out of town this weekend so I won’t be around for any of the fun stuff here until Monday night. Don’t have too much fun without me, OK?! ;))

So I posted a rant a few pages back that I originally posted on another board I visit and I’ve learned some interesting things since I wrote that over there.

1. The girl I directed part of the post too did not read most of it. She took exception to me calling people ‘irritating and shallow’ and pretty much told me that Neal sucks and that’s that. She can’t forgive him for leaving Emma 11 years ago and from previous posts of hers, apparently all the villains get a free pass to happiness but not Neal. Gee, thanks for sharing that information with me.

2. Most of the people there want Emma with Hook because they think he’s the hotter guy. Seriously. That’s their ONLY reason. I want to bang my head on a wall. Ship who you want but good grief, have a valid reason. 😮

3. No one said much about Emma’s conversation with Snow. Were we all watching the same show?! That was INSANELY emotional and heartbreaking and I’m stunned there wasn’t more conversation about it.

4. One guy totally thinks the show is going to follow Mulan and Aurora’s story hardcore this season…I didn’t have the heart to tell him that both actresses have other shows and won’t be back for a while. 😉

5. Someone brought up Neal using Roland as bait to get the shadow to appear and was NOT happy about it. She pointed out that Neal would never go for someone using Henry as bait, which is probably true, but yet here they all are in Neverland because Henry is being held hostage by a psychotic Peter Pan and he doesn’t have a protective parent watching out for him right now. Double standard anyone?!

6. There hasn’t been a deep discussion about any of the characters since the season started so clearly I am not on the same wavelength with these folks.

7. Someone else said the season was dull….again, are we watching the same show?!

I haven’t posted in the thread since my rant and I don’t think I will for a while. After all the stuff I’ve read there this season, I need more than cookies…..I need a whiskey, LOL 😆

Y’all make me so happy when you post all these great comments. I’m anxious for Neal to find Emma again but I’m all right with waiting a bit too. I personally think their reunion will be pretty emotional, especially from Emma’s standpoint because she thought he was dead and her emotional wall is not totally up in NL, and we know Neal is desperate for his second chance and really just wants to save her and Henry from Pan right now, so I think both of them will be pretty emotional in some way when they meet up again. I agree that Neal spending time with Rumple first could be a good thing to help focus him on what’s really important at that moment (saving Henry). There’s plenty of time for love stuff after they get Henry away from Pan and I think Neal knows that all ready.

Slight tangent: After the birth scene from the first episode and the scenes from Lost Girl with Emma talking about her childhood loneliness, I can’t help feeling so heartbroken for Emma because Neal really was the one bright spot in her very sad and lonely life. He gave her hope when she had none because she grew up without hope in a tough world. I  imagine they spent many times talking about families, their hopes and dreams, and we know he taught her a lot of survival stuff, and count me very curious about how Neal described his family life for Emma. It just gives me a lump in my throat to think about how hard their lives were (together and when they were apart) and yet when they were together, it was obvious how much they loved each other and how much they relied on each other to survive. They always had each others backs and never seemed to need many things in order to be happy. Emma was understandably heartbroken to have him leave her and send her to jail but now we’re seeing how heartbroken Neal still is that he hurt her so badly and how much he wants to make things right. It’s so obvious to me that these two people belong together and I just shake my head over the people who can’t see past Neal’s mistakes but see right past all the things the ‘villains’ have done and root hard for them to find their happiness. Doesn’t Neal get to find his happy ending too? It’s such a double standard and it just makes me root for SwanFire even harder because I feel like I can see a bigger picture for him and Emma. They’re each others lobsters! Sorry to use the Friends reference again but IT’S TRUE DARN IT!! LOL 😉

I just rambled a ton and I have no idea if it makes sense but I had to get it off my heart tonight. SwanFire feels have a mind of their own sometimes, LOL 😀

I agree that desperate people do desperate things but Neal did seem to be concerned about Roland’s safety. I liked that Mulan was right there and Robin Hood was also right there too so it was a pretty well thought out plan IMO. I think Mulan ended up being the key towards keeping Roland safe and we have to remember that Neal knows that Shadow better than anyone else in the castle so he did have some insider information about how things would work. I don’t know that I agree with Neal using a child that way but I don’t think his intentions were to get Roland hurt. He just wanted to get back to his son and the love of his life. That can make you do things you wouldn’t normally do and thankfully, it all worked out. I don’t know if this comment made any sense but that’s all I’ve got, LOL 😆

Still so stoked that Neal made it to Neverland so soon! 😀

I GOT A QUESTION ANSWERED TODAY!! I’m kwanfan1212 (you can follow me if you’re on Twitter and don’t mind my many other ramblings about the Reds, Bengals, OSU Buckeyes, figure skating, work, and my random traveling adventures) and he answered my question about Emma and Graham’s shoelace! I was so pleasantly surprised by that and I love that it was Jen’s idea. First time I’ve ever gotten an answer from Adam for anything! YAY ME!  😀
