That awkward annoying moment when you’re working on a huge spreadsheet at work and you come across a facility named “Mighty Hook Inc”. *double facepalm* 😮
BTW-Katie told me this morning that apparently our favorite troll Adam was getting quite a bit of criticism on Twitter yesterday and during a time when he was trying to explain that Neal’s death would still be affecting the characters this year (yeah right…), he actually spelled Neal’s name “Neil”. That tells me all I need to know about how he really feels about this character…even he can’t spell the name right anymore! 🙁

#MoreBOOMLessGloomRant away and flip all the tables you want Watcher because I’m right there with you. They can claim everything was preplanned all they want but the events and stories that have all ready happened on their own show totally contradict that in so many ways.
The more I think on it, it’s almost as if the writing team were intentionally showing Hook to be an untrustworthy, sneaky, unsuitable suitor for Emma. Yet, that would actually take vision, planning and gumption to swim against the tide of popularity (something I think they gave up on when they killed a man for a ship).
Agree SO MUCH with what Slurpeez wrote here. *sigh* 🙁
#MoreBOOMLessGloomOne thing that still never ceases to amuse me is how some CSers will decry Neal for getting engaged to someone who professed to love him (though it was all deceit) yet uphold Hook like he was a saint who’d given up all women after Milha. Yet, by Hook’s own admission, he was in the habit of getting women drunk and then taking them below ship for a night they (probably wouldn’t) even remember. Why the double standard? True, Neal made the mistake of not going after Emma when he had the chance, but Tamara intentionally diverted him for duplicitous reasons and made him believe she loved him. Hook, on the other hand, was a self-professed womanizer who has a history of violence against women (e.g. Belle and even Emma herself).
WORD. I also want to point out that in the missing year Neal tried to get back to Emma and his son. Hook robbed men and killed someone. Happy Thursday, all.
Preach to all of this. The very idea that Hook would be a good father figure for Henry goes against every single thing that this show claims to be about which is further proof that they’ve totally lost their way.
I’d love to see Mikey do the Ice Bucket Challenge thing but it honestly wouldn’t totally surprise me if he had no idea what it was since he doesn’t spend a lot of time on social media right now, LOL 😉

BTW-I’m not really bummed out at all today because I haven’t followed the spoilers or filming stuff at all and I’m not attached to anyone on the show anymore. Slurp is right that it’s almost like a car wreck where you really don’t want to see what’s happening but your curiosity gets the better of you from time to time. I really only know what’s posted in this thread and what I learn on the ranch. Life is pretty good on my end overall aside from occasional rants about how annoying this nightmare of a show is now (which only happen every once in a while so I can get them out of my system, LOL). 😀
#MoreBOOMLessGloomAhhh, apparently I wasn’t paying close enough attention when I skimmed that thread because I totally missed that part. It doesn’t really make me want to flip a table but yeah, I can see how that’s pretty crappy news and they sure do seem he!! bent on making this show as annoying as possible in every single regard now. I think I’m just desensitized to certain things at this point and the transformation of Hook into ‘random pretty guy in leather who’s bad deeds will never be brought back onto the show’ is one of those things.

#MoreBOOMLessGloomOk, maybe I’ve just distanced myself enough from all the filming and set spoilers to not have it affect me that much anymore, but after checking out the filming thread for a couple of pages I’m still not entirely sure what’s gotten people upset unless it’s just the sight of Hook which is always upsetting since it means he’s still alive and being propped up like he’s the king of everything. Help?! 😮
