Lots of good stuff there. Emma Swan was my favorite female in the show. And S3 seems to have butchered her. Not because of CS but just reduced her role to bystander who can do nothing right or protect anyone.
S1 ends with Emma slaying a dragon and declaring that Henry is the most important person in her life. VERY Emma Swan. Totally what she is : Savior + Mother
S2 ends with Emma saving the town and going after Henry in Neverland. Again, Savior + Mother
S3 ends with Emma making out with Hook on a bench after she screwed up history and had to find a clumsy way to repair it. She is neither Savior nor Mother. In fact, she barely makes any references to Henry at all in the S3 finales.
Yup. She was my all time favorite character on this show so this bothers me more than ANYTHING else. They’ve totally changed and dumbed down Emma’s character to the point where I want to smack her for being a tool. She was so bada$$, so awesome, and so powerful in earlier seasons (heck, she was still pretty awesome in the NL arc) but now she’s just a caricature of her former self who’s more interested in her own needs than in her son’s well being. Hugely disappointing. 😥

History has revealed the cast for Sons of Liberty, a six-part miniseries that will follow a defiant and radical group of young men — Sam Adams, John Adams, Paul Revere, John Hancock and Joseph Warren included – as they band together in secrecy to spark a revolution and make America a nation.
Ben Barnes (The Chronicles of Narnia), Henry Thomas (E.T.) and Michael Raymond-James (Once Upon a Time) will play Sam Adams, John Adams and Revere, respectively, while Rafe Spall (Prometheus) and RyanEggold (The Blacklist) will fill the roles of Hancock and Warren.
Additionally, Marton Csokas (Rogue) will play Thomas Gage, the British general who is sent to handle the unrest in Boston, while Dean Norris (Breaking Bad) has been cast as “the brilliant yet mischievous diplomat” Benjamin Franklin.
“From the Boston Tea Party to the Declaration of Independence, Sons of Liberty will tell the rebellious story of America’s greatest fight for freedom,” History EVP Dirk Hoogstra said in touting the miniseries, which begins production this summer.
This sounds really interesting and right up MRJ’s alley as far as something different and creative. I can’t wait to see it!! 😀

BTW-I retweeted the second one earlier this afternoon and made a comment to Katie about it and some random chick tweeted us that she disagreed and was looking forward to next season. That’s fine for her but what did she think she was going to accomplish by tweeting us to tell us that??! Seriously, people are allowed to have different opinions about random things and shocker, we’re allowed to TWEET, BLOG, AND POST about those opinions on our own accounts. Weirdos. 😮

#MoreBOOMLessGloomI just sent a snarky, annoyed tweet to the one long time friend I have who’s suddenly become obsessed with MRJ because she stole my #MRJune meme and didn’t even have the decency to credit it to me. I didn’t steal it from anyone else, I made it up myself this weekend, so how hard would it have been to say, “Hey my friend @kwanfan1212 made up this meme and I’m going to participate this month”. That wouldn’t have bothered me at all. Normally this type of thing wouldn’t have bothered me much anyway but because she’s been driving me crazy with tweets and comments lately (don’t get me started on her consistent whines of, “Why can’t we all like both Neal and Hook?” which makes me want to rage because I have every right in the world to not like Hook so stop trying to make me feel like that’s wrong) I had to say something to her this time. She needs to knock it off soon because I am really considering muting her right now. UGH. *silently fumes and continues being exhausted today* 😮

It is an amazingly gorgeous song and so haunting too if you connect it to OUAT. One of my favorite male skaters performed to this song on a skating tour quite a few years ago and I had to go find the song because it was so beautiful. It definitely makes me teary now though. 🙁
#MoreBOOMLessGloomIf anyone needs a good cry this morning, try listening to this song which has been gutting me since I added it back to my playlist not too long ago. It’s an amazing song and one of the few country ones that I really enjoy. It’s called “When You Come Back To Me” by Garth Brooks and it’s from the movie Frequency (AWESOME movie…check out IMDB for the synopsis if you haven’t seen it and seriously, it’s a tear jerking movie anyway but when you think about what could have been with Emma potentially saving Neal from his OOC death during her trip to the past, it hurts even more and makes you rage at how screwed up the two trolls made that story). 😥

Gotta admit I’m kind of in that type of mood too, mainly about this show, because a non board friend of mine is driving me to drink with all her whining about Neal and MRJ.
