And MRJ makes even more money as yet another episode goes by where he has to be listed in the credits, since he’s still a full time cast member, even though he won’t be appearing in the episode at all. I’m not gonna lie…..as much as that sucks to know (I’d rather him be ON my TV screen), I’d really enjoy that type of job right now, LOL #moneyfornothing
I dunno how TV contracts typically work. Like, I know Meghan was in the opening credits for the whole of S2 (just checked and she was still there in 222), but hers was a case of the character getting sidelined, not killed, and it was a development mid-season, so it’d make sense that they’d still pay her out as per contract because they screwed her over. But if Neal’s death was planned pre-season, is that a thing that would warrant altering MRJ’s contract if he’s already signed one for the full season previously? Or do contracts not get re-negotiated like that, so they were stuck with paying him a full season anyway?
I’m not 100% sure on this but I do remember when the House idiots wrote JMo off that show years ago, they still had to pay her for the season even though they wrote her off in early in season 6. Since ABC upped MRJ to series regular way before the start of S3, contractually they should have to pay him for the entire season no matter what unless they changed something in his contract halfway through which I wouldn’t put past the tools at ABC (though if the two trolls knew early that Neal wasn’t going to be around for the last part of S3, I don’t know why they would have upped him to series regular in the first place). It’s all a bit confusing and I’d rather think about him making money by being away from the train wreck that is becoming this show than to think about them actually going through with changing a contract that was probably signed last summer. #stupidisasstupiddoes #toolshed #ABCFail

I like the idea of Emma going back to NYC and taking Henry to Neal’s apartment so she can really tell him about his father. I’m sure it won’t happen though since the two trolls are so into this whole PLOT ONLY and NO MORE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT thing. *rolleyes* 🙁
Cousin Update: He’s still doing all right and is slowly gaining more consciousness after the coma. He’s having trouble talking from the intubation and also with his sight so hopefully that’s just a random thing and passes with time. He had NO idea what happened to him so they had to explain everything. I think the neurologist is supposed to come by today and do a few more tests but so far so good with how he’s doing. Thanks again for the good thoughts and please keep them coming!
#MoreBOOMLessGloomIf they seriously go through anything that erases Henry from the show, there will be a TON of backlash from the fans. No matter what you think of Jared and his acting skills, Henry is VITAL to the connections between most of these characters and his loss on the canvas would be a deep one. Then again, I think that Neal was also a big connection to the cast and look what they did to his character. I really don’t trust these guys anymore. /still bitter 🙁
Thanks for all the kind words about my cousin and I’m SO happy that I got great news to share today. I’ll keep you guys posted on his recovery and if they ever figure out what happened to him!

Yeah, that’s where I am too. It’s an awesome theory but how creative and clever are those two trolls that they would actually find and use something like that? I don’t trust them at all but hey, maybe they’ll prove me wrong. I’m not putting my hopes on it though because I’m done getting my heart broken by this show.

Text from my mom: “Update. They took him out of coma. [cousin] is off ventilator. Breathing on own. Heart beating on own. He is confused and eyes blurry but [my aunt] thinks he recognizes their voices. Everything that is happening is what is supposed to. God is good!” God is good indeed! Glad to get this great news today and just wanted to make sure I passed it along to you guys. Thanks again for all the good thought and prayers! *HUGS* 😀
#MoreBOOMLessGloomHoly moly, that is mind numbingly insane concept! And it’s insane enough that I wouldn’t put it past these writers to figure out a way to use it in their story. It doesn’t give me much hope for Neal at all because my hope is very low at the present time (thought I do love @Phee’s theory up there) but it does give me something to think about other than my disillusionment with the show.
#MoreBOOMLessGloomInteresting theories everyone but I refuse to get my hopes up about anything with this show. I just don’t trust the writers at all after some of the other stuff that’s happened or been retconned in the past.
Rant: It would not surprise me at ALL for ABC to have royally screwed up with their NL and Oz promotions. That second chances poster for Neal still irks me to this day after how things went down in last week’s ep. Remember that this IS ABC we’re talking about who routinely make stupid mistakes on social media, with press releases, and with their promos. I’m prepared for those to never be explained and for A&E to brush them aside like they do whenever anyone asks about promotional stuff. This show has made me more cynical than I have ever been about anything. 🙁
One of my longtime friends and I have been trying to have OUAT conversations via Twitter since last weekend and seriously, it is insanely hard to talk about anything with this show via Twitter. I may have to send her a message via Facebook explaining my feelings because I just can’t get through to her that Neal’s death and my disillusion with the show have NOTHING to do with shipping. She seems to think I’m just upset about SF not happening but that’s not my biggest issue at all. She doesn’t really ship anything so there’s no bias on that front but she really doesn’t understand why I’ve been so upset about the show. I guess I’ll be writing a long winded message to her later tonight….I should probably warn her that this is coming, LOL 😉
BTW-Thanks for all the continued good thoughts and prayers for my cousin. No news today which is fine with me because right now, no news = good news. 🙂

They actually didn’t like Neal fans at all and they’re sitting there laughing at how horrible they’ve been able to make things for us with Neal’s death. That’s all I’ve got tonight.
