RG, I felt I had to stop by one more time just to give you the biggest hug ever for doing the podcast, and sticking through it. I’m happy so many of you are finding things to enjoy still in the show, and definitely in the conversation about the show. I poked around a little on other threads, but honestly trying to say what I want without getting embroiled in a back-and-forth-time-consuming discussion about it? I don’t want that because I’ve been a lot happier not devoting quite so much time to all this. Once you start, sometimes it is hard to stop, so I had to laugh at the conversations that went by about feeling like you’re in an abusive relationship or addicted or something like that. Precisely the reason I thought it best to put my highly developed procrastination skills to work FOR me for a change–I’ll check in later. Oh, maybe a little later. Then the next day, the next day and finally I don’t feel so bad or that I’m missing out on something, but am just firmly in my new routine, a healthier routine. Anyway *hugs* to everyone, especially to whoever it is that has a relative in the hospital. I skimmed, so forget who right now.
Please don’t be a stranger! We may have been kicked in the gut by the story but I think the friendships we’ve all made here are going to last much longer than this show. *HUGS* 😀
And that was me with a relative (my cousin) in the hospital so thanks for the hugs. I got an update from my mom that they’re warming his body up now (they cooled him down to avoid brain damage when his heart stopped earlier this week) and they took him off dialysis (standard when you cool someone) but that warming process can take a while so that’s all I know for now. I’m going out of town this weekend but I will do everything I can to keep you guys updated on his status while I’m gone. I don’t know how much internet I’ll have but I should have some available at random times. Thanks again for all the hugs. 🙂

I went through college as a Pharmacy major for a while and took a million chemistry classes. That fire symbol was imprinted in my brain for a LONG time so I can’t believe I didn’t catch the connection! Hmmm. Interesting stuff to think about for sure.
@Phee – I like your theories and honestly, that thought occurred to me too because technically, and we love how these guys love to throw around how they word things, technically if they brought back Bae somehow later, then they didn’t really lie to everyone that Neal died. Neal would be gone but if Baelfire lives on, that could be interpreted as a different character (especially if that crack theory I heard about somewhere else about Zelena erasing Regina from existence happens and their lives all change to something else from that event).I don’t really have a lot of hope for any of this but it’s sure fun to talk about in the meantime.

I don’t really have much hope that these guys are going to do anything to bring Neal back or that they’re even creative enough to figure that whole thing out but it sure does make a whole lot of sense. I’d love it if they did something like that and pulled the wool over the entire fanbase but I’m not going to place my hopes on anything because I’ve been burned too many times by these writers all ready. For the record, the lack of a TLK really bothers me too and the blatant parallels from WL to OUAT last night were PAINFUL to say the least. It’s nice to know that the rules of these shows don’t apply to both of them. 🙁
Update: My cousin is still in the hospital and in stable condition. He’s in a medically induced coma right now while they try to figure out what’s going on with his heart. I don’t really have any other details at the moment but I’d appreciate your good thoughts and continued prayers for him this weekend. Thanks. 🙂
#MoreBOOMLessGloomInteresting observations Slurpeez. A few days later now and I still can’t figure out how Neal got the message to Hook. That is something that bothered me right from the get go in the episode and now that my head is clearer, I still can’t figure it out. Neal and Rumple were sharing a body somehow once they got to SB (don’t get me started on how unreal it sounds that Rumple and Neal were in one body for an entire YEAR in the EF) and Rumple was in a cage in a cellar. How would he have gotten a message out to anyone in that state and how would Neal have broken out of Rumple long enough to even do that? I don’t think he was able to break free as Neal until he ran into Emma in the woods (when he was Rumple) and his love for her brought Neal to the surface long enough to have all those conversations. Pieces of this thing just do NOT make sense especially now that I can see them clearer than I could on Sunday. If this stuff isn’t explained somehow in the upcoming episodes, then we’ll know they just up and changed the entire story but if there’s more there, then maybe this episode won’t stick out like such a sore thumb. I’m probably giving A&E too much credit on this one but dang, there’s some serious crap from this ep that needs explaining right about now.
BTW-Just found out during my lunch that my cousin is in the hospital having heart problems. If you could send some good thoughts or prayers his way that would be really appreciated (no news on his overall condition yet). This week has GOT to stop with the emotional trauma for me before I lose what’s left of my mind. 🙁
#MoreBOOMLessGloomI’m with you guys. I decided that I’m watching on Sunday night but then I’m taking it week by week as to if I keep watching after that or not. I just don’t trust those guys anymore and my viewpoint of the show as a whole has changed quite a bit too so I don’t know how I’ll feel about things after this weekend. I think taking a Wait and See attitude is what’s best for me at this point. I loved this show before MRJ/Neal joined it but I have to see if I can still love it again after what they did to his character.
