And I didn’t even have to look at the author of that article to know it was written by Matt M. He won’t admit it now but that guy LOVED Neal and was definitely rooting for SwanFire back in the day. It doesn’t surprise me at all that he listed Neal as the #1 character that should come back and he’s right with what he said about him too:

Combining this article with what RG just posted about from a completely separate article makes me ache because it’s SO clear to me that the two trolls have totally lost their way with how their show started off and where it is now. How can people not see that the heart of the show is gone now? I’m not even just talking about Nealfire here….the WHOLE HEART of the show was the characters and their overall relationships with everyone else. I haven’t been watching because I’d rather wash my hair, pluck my eyebrows, and run sceaming naked off a bridge that give them my viewership again, but it sounds like they’ve given up on that and the characters are all pod!people now. IT P*****S ME OFF SO BADLY THAT THEY DON’T SEE HOW MESSED UP THINGS ARE NOW. Fan pressure and/or network pressure is a pretty dangerous thing to pander to and I think they’re learning a hard lesson now about honking off a fanbase. How can anyone think this show is still heartwarming, family friendly, and well written when there are SO MANY other great shows out there that actually know their own show’s hisotry and HONOR IT??! 🙁
BTW-Rebecca in the comments is our spirit animal everyone. PREACH IT OUT SISTER! Even when the CS BAs come out to beat you down which they ALWAYS do in the TV Line comments section.

I admit to being an ardent Rumbelle voter in the past but I admit to a secret wish that all the Once couples had been eliminated in the first round. I voted for Shamy and then was out of there. I need to go grocery shopping big time. I have the catastrophe of having no peanut butter in the house. I think Heather is happy it’s Friday.
