ParticipantNot gonna lie…this gave me a lump in my throat and made me cry. 😥

Just noticed this, the first shot of the town line is Emma hugging Belle before she embraces her parents.
New headcanon Emma, asked Belle to watch after Neal.

ParticipantWords cannot express how much I love this edit. <3
That postcard of Neal and Emma's story being in the book is one of my favorites from Operation Tiger! The girl who did it worked SO hard on it and I'm super glad it turned out so well. If the producers and actors noticed anything from Operation Tiger, I really hope they noticed that one!! 😀
UGH, why are they so adorable????! 😉

ParticipantQuick one before I get caught slacking on a Friday:
Aaaaaaaaaah. That’s QUICK!? Seriously. Amazing
Your quick artwork looks better than some I’ve seen out there that probably took the person like four hours, LOL 😉 (AWESOME job on this one!)

ParticipantPretty thing attached to this message and wish I could find it online but my search abilities are very limited graphically here at work! 😀
And for the record, I do have some thoughts on the spoiler-y things that you guys have discussed today but after 3×12 and all the misdirections, I decided that I really want to see everything in context from now on so I’m not going to watch the sneak peaks anymore. I feel like it wouldn’t be fair to comment about them since I haven’t watched anything yet but I might swing by later tonight and post a few other ramblings while I’m hanging out in chat and freaking out over Grimm. 😉

ParticipantThis needs to be on every page now. 😉
Funny that you guys are talking about the perils and challenges of writing couples because we were just talking about that in chat last night. I agree that you don’t want to get a couple together too soon because the payoff doesn’t mean as much. I went through the whole Meredith/Derek thing on GA and while the journey was LONG and challenging and very trying on my patience, I loved their final reunion so much and post its totally have a new meaning for me now. 😉 I’m glad they finally got and kept them together and have also managed to keep them interesting for the most part. The worry that writers need to think about with audiences though is that attention spans are totally shrinking and if you keep couples apart too long, people lose interest in them and leave the show. 🙁
I have a theory about how to write for couples that I really think more writers need to consider before they plot out their stories. It’s crazy easy to come up with random scenarios that keep your couples apart; it’s a lot more challenging to put them together AND give them a great story or keep them interesting. I really wish more writers would challenge themselves to write stories about couples dealing with situations TOGETHER instead of it always being about them breaking up/getting together again. Currently there’s a couple on Chicago Fire that are going through some tough times but they’re going through them TOGETHER and their story actually showing the journey of how they’re growing stronger as a couple through those tough times. There are good ways to do that for couples and I think in S4, A&E need to challenge themselves more by writing some of our fave couples (mainly Rumbelle & SwanFire IMO) actually being together but having to overcome some sort of situation or problem as a team. You really can’t keep couples apart forever in this day and age because people don’t have the patience anymore (and IMO, it also gets really draggy and repetitive which is not fun to watch). Let Snowing or OutlawQueen or someone else have the separation/fight to find each other again story and give the couples that have gone through more angst in two seasons than most people have gone through in a lifetime a chance to talk and be together as a couple so we can enjoy a change of pace for them for a while. Do we really need another big bad for S4A? I would totally watch an entire half season of everyone just trying to deal with life in SB. We could have Snowing trying to be good parents, Emma & Neal working through their pasts, Rumbelle being all domestic, OutlawQueen figuring out how to have a life together, Henry’s custodial situation could be rife with comedic moments, and the others could all be intertwined with their stories as needed and there wouldn’t be a need to have another big bad until S4B (maybe they lay the clues for the big bad throughout the first part of the season and take care of that bad guy in the second half). I don’t want Once to turn into Scandal where every single season or week, SOMETHING.BAD.IS.HAPPENING. and they don’t really talk to each other. 😮
Season 4: The Kitchen Table season….I endorse it. 😉 #themoreyouknow

ParticipantInteresting….
NOW REUNITED WITH HER PARENTS IN STORYBROOKE, WILL EMMA ASK ABOUT NEAL ASAP?
“For sure,” says Jennifer Morrison. “No matter what, Neal is Henry’s father, and Emma wants her son to have a father in his life. So she is definitely concerned about whether he made it back to Storybrooke as well.”
There’s more stuff in that article but I liked this part very much and I’m glad we got a little confirmation that Neal hasn’t been forgotten and that Emma asks about him right away. Love that Jen is always diplomatic about her answers and in this case, she’s absolutely right. More than anything else, Neal is Henry’s father and she needs to know if he’s okay or not for Henry’s sake. Him not being seen in town yet may also be one of the reasons she uses to keep Henry from getting his memories back right away. I like that she’s keeping true to her words that Henry’s well being comes first for her. There’s another part of the article that hints at more EF backstory for Neal that connects with Belle’s story which we kind of all ready knew so I left that off my post here. We knew they were going to be heading off for Operation Crocodile soon! 😉

ParticipantI swear my morning was crap (lost my debit card, late for work, missed a deadline.. you name it all before 830am) and then I came here and saw page 801 and now I’m DEAD WITH HAPPY. GAW HES PERFECT.
*HUG TACKLES* I had that day myself earlier this week so hopefully things improve for you very soon! Nothing like that gorgeous smile from Mikey to make a person’s day brighter, LOL 😉

ParticipantNice to read some comments from Sebastian about OUAT and while I would LOVE to see Jefferson back at some point, I totally understand why it doesn’t work right now (especially with the current stories on the show). I’m glad he hasn’t totally ruled it out though and that he still speaks highly of everyone there. 🙂

ParticipantHappy Friday! 😉
if we live our lives looking to the past, we’ll never be able to move forward, to our future together. What is it?
I thought when Alice said that line is was extremely relevant to what Neal and Emma are experiencing. Especially Emma. They are both caught up with their past, and are too afraid to look forward. Neal was literially stuck in the past and present in Neverland. And when he got to our world he was a loner. Emma also still needs some time to work on that, because we all know Emma’s walls are strong, and her habit is to shut down and hide, not being able to move on from past hurts. This prevents her from moving forward with her life as we’ve seen her constantly running until she got to Storybrook and started to find herself. My hope is that both Neal and Emma find that lesson in each other.
I agree! I’ve gotten major SF feels from WL the last two weeks and I feel like that’s intentionally being done. Their stories are kind of running parallel to each other but Alice & Cyrus are a few steps ahead of where Emma & Neal are right now. Hopefully Emma & Neal are able to find some peace about their pasts and then whenever they finally see each other again (not really a spoiler…we all know it has to happen at some point!), they’re both at points where they’re ready to move forward together and heal their hurts while enjoying the (what will probably be rare) happy moments together between all the drama & disasters. 😀
