RG: I don’t think Neal going off with Belle signifies him giving up at all. I think his time with Belle is going to convince him more than ever that he needs to fight for his family. Hopefully they discover the truth about Rumple at some point too and through that he realizes that if Belle can believe and fight for her true love, then he needs to believe and fight for his love as well. I honestly do think something bad happens to Neal that doesn’t allow him to go seek out Emma (of course…why would anything GOOD happen for poor Neal?!) and it’s part of the story that we don’t know yet for S3B. I still think Hook is being set up somehow for the downfall later this season and that he was in cahoots with someone in order to get out to find Emma (best guess…Zelena). Remember what’s been written elsewhere by people who’ve seen the episode in question…nothing in this episode is at all conclusive that things are over for Emma & Neal (and it was CS people who said that too). Hang onto hope! These first few episodes back are going to SUCK ROCKS for us but we just need to sit tight and wait for our turn. Get that #BOOM on girl!

I haven’t finished reading the whole thing yet, but when I read this, I actually applauded.
I may or may not have grinned like an idiot when I read that part (I couldn’t cheer because I’m at work and they’d probably look at me weird, LOL). I hope we actually get to see this part of the story and that it’s something BIG because they sure as heck have kept that part a big secret during this hiatus.
#MoreBOOMLessGloomI really think that whole ‘actor wanting out of the show’ thing has been blown WAY out of proportion and fans need to stop using that as an excuse for the spoiler of doom. They said it was storyline dictated, period, and I think they’re smart enough to realize that there will be heck to pay if we all find out they lied to us. You just can’t do stuff like that and expect to keep your fans watching your show. If it comes out later that it was actually true, then I’ll begrudgingly eat my words but I find that whole rumor really hard to believe especially thinking back on the source of it (stupid PA is stupid and hopefully fired). Let’s not let that get back into our brains again. None of the cast members on this show seem unhappy at all. MRJ especially has never said a bad thing about this show and the fact that he’s been in this business for a LONG time now leads me to believe he’s not going to just say “I’m out” on a full time gig when he’s not someone who’s had a lot of those in his career. Contracts can change, yeah, people can change their minds, yeah….but I would have hard time swallowing TPTB signing him to a full time cast member only to dump him again at the end of the season (seriously, WE JUST DID THIS LAST YEAR). That makes NO sense and I don’t think A&E would do that to the fans. They may be trolls who annoy us to no end but they started this SwanFire story right from the start and I refuse to believe that they’re going to end it in some type of horrific way for the SF fans. They wouldn’t have given us so much to hold onto in the show, Adam wouldn’t bring Neal up when not asked about him (see his tweet about the Valentine’s Day things…remember that it was Adam who pointed out Neal would have had one too if he’d had a say in it), and we wouldn’t be going through the ringer so much if there wasn’t some type of payoff for that coming up. This is all TV 101….no writer or creator of a show is going to break one of those unwritten rules and risk alienating so much of their fanbase by lying and misleading them for almost two years.
Stop giving the BTS stuff and the trolls on the internet that much power. They don’t know ANYTHING right now and are just enjoying watching us all suffer. Let’s not give them the satisfaction of pain but stand strong and believe in the STORY.

#MoreBOOMLessGloomGreat thoughts. I’ve always seen him as (if anything) MORE important because of his ties to Emma. Not to take away from the importance of being the cause of the curse and Rumple’s child– just that he is the beginning (and happy ending) of her story as a person. Them finding each other was meant to be. Their story and where they came from… there’s no room for “chance” in them being together and I can’t understand how anyone, shipper or not, can say that he isn’t a driving force in the entire fairytale that is her life (with Henry of course). She may not know it yet, but everything comes together with him and Henry in her life as an undivided family unit that echos the charmings. She’s a product of true love, who is meant to go on and embody true love in her own life. The beauty of the story is that it’s not a perfect story, but just because the story isn’t perfect doesn’t mean that her ending isn’t meant to be. The same with Neal. His story is horrible and cruel and painful, but with all that rain– man, he has one heck of a rainbow waiting, doesn’t he? All the struggle and the hard times are part of the climb up the mountain to the top. The top, where I fully believe Emma, Neal and Henry are meant to be perched, looking at where they came from and seeing how much of it was worthwhile in order to find where they were meant to be… together and home. He’s important, dangit.
Perfect post is perfect. Wow, what a great way to say all of that and I’m truly holding onto that hope too even when the darkness force fed to me by the media and annoying ‘fans’ feels overwhelming. I believe they’ll find their way home to each other again. 🙂 Dang, where have you been hiding this whole hiatus??! We’d be over 900 pages by now if we had your awesome artwork and wonderful posts mixed in with the rest of our ramblings, LOL 😀
