ParticipantThis had some good questions about Rumple and what his plan really was.

ParticipantI would have thought Emma’s powers had more to do with crossing over from FTL before the curse than being a product of true love. Or does that mean none of the other princes and princesses have true love?

ParticipantI think he met Jefferson and Jefferson gave him info about the dagger. He said it himself, that he travels and hears much, plus he spent an unknown amount of time working with Rumple so who knows what Jefferson picked up.

ParticipantThis was a great episode, one of my favorites this season. The scenes with Regina, Rumple, Hook and Cora were my favorite parts, really.
-Hook slashing his way through Regina’s guards and then slapping Belle (I don’t like her)
-Regina snatching his hook, I lol’d at that and because she’s so smug 😀
-REGINA IN THAT SUPER TIGHT DRESS *major drool*
-Cora and Hook in Wonderland
-Regina’s confession of her true feelings to Cora’s “corpse”
-We found out why that piece of land was protected, but it just looked like the shield Atlantis has in Stargate….which reminds me that Dr Beckett was also in this episode.
-Regina and Gold stealing magic
-Grumpy being, well grumpy 😀
-Ruby!
-The fight between the good and the bad at the lake.
-All work and no play makes Rumple a dull boy
-Regina negating the magic in the well. Shows how much she really is willing to give up for Henry
-And the ship sailing towards SB! 😀Least favorite moments:
-Why on Earth would they keep the magic ink in Rumple’s cell?
-Gold flipping off Ruby. Literally. Not cool dude.
-“Love is strength!” sounded really cheesy to me. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some cheese but not in that case
-MM and David reunion in SB.
-Everyone strolling away and not asking Regina to come along. Surely she would be invited, since she helped save Emma and MM, but no.hellraiser-89
Participantlol we’ll just wait and see XD If that happens I know how season 3 will start:
Emma will look concerned and turn to her parents as the camera zooms in on her face. Then she says “I think we’re in a TV show”

ParticipantI know what you mean medchen. I usually don’t like when shows do that, they even partly did that with Stargate and their villains were really plain and simple evil, at least in the beginning, then they sorta became more….wussy and comedic. I really hope we wont see Regina or Rumple turning into the bad-guy/comic-relief when/if they pose no to little threat to the heroes.

ParticipantGypsy, it’s possible. I just joked in the last half of my post 😛
But he could have written it. I mean he was cooked up in that mansion for 28 years, so he must have done something in that time. I know he made lots of hats but after making 1000000 of them in Wonderland he must have been pretty good at that and would be able to make them quickly.medchen, lol and then the camera goes like this on them: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T55ArHjeR1c

ParticipantIt’s very ironic that when Regina sets out to get redemption all her enemies are somehow subdued.
Like EQ says, she has no reason to use magic or turn evil. But I’m sure she wouldn’t hesitate to throw someone else in front of the bus if the choice was between them and herself. Unless it was Henry of course. Then she’d just use her magic to flip the bus over 😀
But anyway I think this is like Lost, where all the characters would make choices to become better people yet face temptations along the way. The most obvious parallel between Regina’s use of magic, is Charlie’s heroine addiction on Lost as magic has been a metaphor for drugs. When Charlie gave up the last heroin he had, the survivors on the Island found a plane that happened to belong to drug smugglers, so he was tested again. I think it’s the same with Regina, but she’s using dark magic for good causes now, but I bet that will change if/when Cora makes it to SB.hellraiser-89
ParticipantJefferson wrote it over a cup of tea. The twist ending this season will be that it’s all in Jefferson’s mind, cause he’s that mad!

ParticipantSince the writers have experience from Lost, I’d say it’s very possible Regina and Rumple will reflect Cora and Hook’s stories.
I agree with you, EQ, that we know Regina and Rumple now but we don’t know Cora and Hook. For most part of season one we just knew Regina was evil, and it wasn’t until Stable Boy that we found out why. If they develop Cora further I’m sure we will see a similar episode along the line where we find out why she’s evil.obisgirl, I always had a feeling Rumple would be the big bad, since he’s been the one manipulating everyone and pulling all the strings and since he’s probably connected to Cora it’s possible he was the one who made her evil, similar to how he manipulated Regina.
I see him as willing to do whatever it takes to get what he wants. -
