I was assuming the second season was going to be about them taking back the kingdom, both in SB and FTL. Also, I think it’s likely that the curse is broken, but since he wrote the curse, there were multiple curses. He couldn’t make it so that everybody would automatically return to FTL, if he didn’t design it so that HE could control when and if they go back then he would risk never finding Bae. Though I expect to see the hatter play a larger role in season 2, due to Oz, and Mulan being mentioned by the writers for season 2.

Not only do I think that this is likely, but due to emma looking up in shock/ terror in the one scene and the accompanying roaring sound, I suspect she may become a dragon.
Based on some of the characters we have heard about for next season, I think Emma will be traveling through/ interacting with various worlds, maybe even with Jefferson and his hat, to look for a way to break the curse without dying. So for the season finale, I think Emma may wake up Henry (though that also may be part of next season), and I also think that Emma and a few others will start to believe/ remember.
