I think it was really badly done. What was the point of cold opening the season with Jafar when he was never going to even meet the main characters on the show? I guess they were introducing the savior problems, but they haven’t really done anything with that either. Also, all of that bizarre foreshadowing of Jafar with the Oracle and the bird and the staff just being nothing is bad writing. I think the last episode was boring and irrelevant like most of the things that happen on this show are now.

I think i saw a picture and a video where it looks like Gideon is wearing a suit during the fight scene with Emma, so he probably inturrpts the wedding. Maybe both he and the Black Fairy do. That could mean that the Black Fairy is defeated in the alternate storybook realm/curse realm/whatever is going on there realm. I guess it would be possible that the Black Fairy was defeated in that other realm, but who knows at this point. I don’t think we have enough information to guess that.
I still think Gideon should be turned back into a baby and go off with Rumpel and Belle, but who knows.
The flashing light is sort of like how there was a flashing light on the Evil Queen’s face when she clipped the light between her and Regina. I don’t know if that is why there is flashing, but it is an idea.
Others have made a good point, if Jennifer is still keeping her money and her regular status, but will be in less episodes, then i could see her allowing them to keep her availability for one more season. She always said that she wanted to finish Emma’s character off, so i could see that.
I don’t think the show will work without Jennifer being in every episode. It will be a completely different show and i don’t get what they are going to do with Hook. Especially if Regina is now the main character. She doesn’t even like Hook and they never interact.
For me, it has felt like Jennifer has been part time in 6B. She has barely been in a lot of the episodes. I think that if this is true, which it may not be true at all, then it was something more like Jennifer said she would come back for a few episodes. I can’t imagine Jennifer agreeing to be available and yet get less money and less credit. The availability, i think, is Jennifer’s biggest issue. She wants to do other projects and so i can’t imagine her being willing to be available whenever they want for every episode even if it is less time like it has been in 6B. If she can work her other projects around doing Ouat then sure, but i would imagine it is Ouat that is going to have to work with her and not that she is going to continue to let Ouat control her time.
I think, for right now, i am going to assume that while there might be a little truth behind this, the wording in the tweet is incorrect.
Josh acts so bizarre sometimes. It is almost like he doesn’t know how to behave towards people. I am not saying that he is doing anything wrong, it is just over the line of appropriate. Picking up Jennifer, he did something like that to Lana once and a crew person yelled at him, pretending to stomp on Colin’s foot. I don’t really think he knows any better, honestly. Like he thinks he is being funny and he’s not.
Exactly, there is something to be said for predictability. It is called character consistency. Like i thought Clarke would take the nightblood because she wouldn’t want to harm the others and that is what she did. It makes perfect sense to me that she would do that. And yet, they still did a great job showing her make that choice. I thought it was really well done as well.
Her mother is slightly ridiculous to me because wasn’t she part of the whole throwing people out of airlocks, killing a whole section of people on the arc thing? It has been a long time sense i saw those episodes, so maybe she was against it. I don’t really remember. Those moments are sort of why the parents don’t really work for me as characters. Jaha being the best of them, but still just eh for me.
I think Jasper’s characterization makes sense. I just think it is boring. I think Bellamy is pretty much all over the place now. He has been for a while now. Like you said, he has no center and so his motivation is just really random. They almost need to send him off to find something to center around.
