ParticipantThis show has not gotten better for me. I still don’t really care about the character’s loss. I don’t feel like they are really in danger. They seem sort of dumb, like if you want to talk without the recorder hearing just leave it in a room and have a conversation in another room. I don’t feel like the bad guy or the secret society are really all that dangerous to the main characters.
I don’t like that they are changing the timeline and pretending it wouldn’t have catastrophic effects. It just doesn’t really make sense as a premise and nothing is happening. They are having repetitive conversations, a lot.

ParticipantI know that for me, i found Hook extremely boring in Season 2 when he was still just a villain and not a love interest, so it has nothing to do with him being Emma’s love interest. They wasted too much time with him then when they could have done more with Cora and with Emma/Snow and Regina/Snow storylines. When Colin broke his leg and he was 0n the show less, i was really hoping that he would go away by the end of the season and be done with.
Then we went to Neverland and he, Captain Hook, still added nothing of value to the storyline about Neverland. It was the Emma/Bae and Rumpel/Bae and Emma/Snow scenes that were the best part of that arc. Then Pan really become interesting later in the arc. Hook is just sort of there.
He is not friends with the Charming family. When they actually talk about him, it isn’t good. They do spend time with him, but as i said, it is mostly in service to saving their family members and not because they are friends or somehow enjoy spending time together. People constantly talk about there being some big friendship between Hook and Charming, but it does not exist. It is all down to people who rewatch Hook scenes over and over again and then take the entire show out of context.

ParticipantSeriously, there are so many things like suggesting that Hook is somehow connected to Henry, Snow, and Charming that just prove how out there the theories are on Hook. Hook and Charming aren’t friends. That is made up by people who like Hook. They work together because Charming wants Emma to be happy and Hook wants Emma. Henry and Snow are the exact same way. They interact with Hook because he is always with Emma, so if they want to spend time with Emma, then they by default spend time with Hook. Also, Charming has no one right now because Snow is cursed and Emma and Regina are in another realm, that only leaves Hook. Also, Hook and Belle are not friends. They interact because they are side characters who serve no purpose, so they have them interact to not waste the main characters screen time.
Hook is without a doubt the most divisive character on the show. The majority of the fandom of this show want him off the show. People either seriously dislike him or are indifferent or just find him boring. The fans that like him are just more intense. Though, i know for me, i have no desire for them to develop Hook anymore. Either kill him off or just let him stand back there and stay unconnected from the rest like Zelena, Belle, and Robin.

ParticipantAre we sure the Evil Queen is no longer a snake in the present day scenes in Storybrooke?

ParticipantI am not looking forward to Regina and Robin anymore then i am looking forward to Emma and Hook. At least we know Regina and Robin is going to end and be no more. If we had the same assurance about the waste of time spent on Emma and Hook then it wouldn’t be so bad. Also, Emma being the main character and being overly centered on Hook because he has no connections to any of the other characters is a very big problem for the show.
Regina has connections to every character on the show, so when she has a lot of screen time it is shared with literally every main character. The same is not true of Hook.

ParticipantHonestly, all of this sounds terrible. Why are they bringing Nemo back at all unless just as a plot device to get them somewhere? Why would he ever be around for multiple episodes? I do not want Robin back and i do not care about anything to do with him and Regina and i can’t believe that is lasting multiple episodes . A captain swan adventure or plot sounds horrible to me, no surprise there. I don’t care about Gideon and Belle and Rumpel at all. I don’t care about Aladdin and Jasmine anymore either because that has already gone on too long and they will just vanish at the end of the season anyways, so why should i care.
I am really just sort of on my lest leg with this show. The fairies is the only thing of interest going on right now. Is the Black Fairy really Rumpel’s mother and how shady is the Blue Fairy? Charming meeting his father could have been interesting, but it seems to be all about Hook and Hook asking Emma to marry him. Snow and Charming are going to remain separated for at least another quarter of a season. It seems like no Snow hardly at all and i have never really liked Charming all that much. I don’t even know what Emma is going to be doing during this half besides hanging out with Hook. It just sounds awful and i feel almost done with this show.

ParticipantI think i thought, that we wouldn’t have to deal with their engagement and potential wedding until the end of the series. Now, it seems like something that is going to be dragged across the entire second half of the season like some sort of horror story. I was really hoping that we would not get that. I think Hook asking Charming’s permission is bizarre and is another symptom of how out of touch this show is with what it used to be. Now, i am worried we might have to sit through dress shopping and picking flowers with Snow. Excuse me while i vomit.

ParticipantAt least she got scooped. This all seems like a bunch of random nonsense. Hook is buying a ring while Emma is in the wish realm. Charming is talking to his ghost father. This show is terrible.

ParticipantYou mean when she swung the sword at Regina in the sheriff’s station? That was done for comedic effect, so i am not really taking that as proof of anything. Regardless, she was not 18 years older, in my opinion.

ParticipantFor me, i always thought Snow was like 12 and Regina was like 18.
