ParticipantMaybe because they are split magic doesn’t work on Hyde. Maybe he isn’t a real person somehow. Like in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde how Jekyll had to kill himself to stop Hyde. Maybe the only way you can hurt Hyde is by using magic on Jekyll. They have to still be connected.

ParticipantNo. No. He really said that? What is wrong with Eddy? He just should not be allowed to talk in public. Adam always tries to jump in and save him, but seriously can he just keep it together. I mean what a mess.

ParticipantI don’t get the whole there are untold stories that don’t want to be told. What does that even mean? I guess they are connecting the new characters stories to our main characters, but is it all going to be in a negative way. Like the main characters have all caused harm to the new characters, so everyone in town will want to keep what the new characters know a secret. Is it that? That doesn’t seem all that different then what has been done before. I was hoping that it wasn’t all going to be bad too.

ParticipantYeah, but they even said that there is a lot of romance at the beginning. I mean, can it just stop already. There is way too much romance on this show. It should be about different relationships then just the couples. Even when they do a run down of events for the season they talk about the characters in couple terms. Snowing, captain swan, rumbelle. Instead of being so what is Emma doing. What is Charming doing. What is Rumpel doing. They just automatically lump them by couples in their interviews. I find that very annoying and does not look good for the idea that they will really ever focus on family again.

ParticipantYes, this would happen. But if you think of memes as kind of like blueprints or archetypes, then it follows that they could have multiple expressions. Here’s an example. A Snow White meme would be about a girl with snow white skin whose stepmother hates her and wants to kill her and who teams up with seven dwarves and falls in love with a handsome prince. This meme could manifest in many, many different story versions and even real life sitations. All of these versions and even people could coexist, because, why not? In one version, Snow might kill her stepmother, whereas in another, she might befriend her. It wouldn’t matter, because this meme doesn’t have an ending, so its manifestations could play out in different ways. I don’t know if any of this makes sense. I’m treating it as an intellectual exercise to try and answer some of the questions about the OUAT universe. Just to clarify – I don’t believe A & E are actually thinking along these lines. It’s just the theory I would have presented if I’d been in their place.
There is a book series where this is the premise.

ParticipantIsn’t it weird that there has been like no news from the screening? Why have a screening without releasing anything? The episode is in two days. It just seems bizarre. I mean most of our spoilers are from casting news, interviews from Eddie and Adam, and the clips. They usually have all these things like ten spoilers from the episode and i haven’t seen a single one of those.

ParticipantI don’t think i will ever get over them saying they changed the show because the audience figured it out. That is ridiculous. This is their work, their story, how could you ever allow the fandom figuring it out to control you. Someone is always going to figure out what is going on. There are too many filming spoilers. People deconstruct every thing that happens in the show. And why wouldn’t you want that? Why wouldn’t you want the audience to care so much that they do that? Why would you want your show to make so much sense, that what happens is perfect? I will never understand that. It is the worst thing i have ever heard a writer say.

ParticipantIt is like the writers want us to like what they like, but god forbid someone like a character that they plan on killing like Robin or don’t plan on killing, but then kill because they are too dumb to realize that the crazy psycho fans on twitter are not the majority of the audience, like Neal. It is like oh they created these characters and people are upset that they died. Don’t they want people to like their characters? They only want people to like what they think they should like and only think what they think. Well, that isn’t real.

ParticipantI would love for them to do a musical episode, but the writers are just not good enough, so i would rather they just not.

ParticipantThe worst part is that the writing is inconsistent unto itself. They will write one thing and then later contradict themselves with something else. The characters behavior even contradicts itself. It is really bad.
