So after 5 Seasons, Posh just doesn’t want their store used anymore? How odd.
I thought they used to rent that entire store out all the time and just leave it dressed. Sometimes the actors would go in there when it was cold outside. I might be confused. Maybe they rented it out to someone else.
I’m wanting to say that back in the early seasons they used to hang out in the building that was dressed up as the animal shelter? And maybe in more recent seasons, the place that was dressed up as Any Given Sundae? Buggered if I could give a source for that, so maybe I’m making it up, but I seem to recall pics and tweets of cast hanging out in both of those locations in years past? The shop that’s been used for Mr Gold’s has always been a business, and whenever they needed to use it they just temporarily dressed up the shop front.
Yeah, i am probably remembering that wrong. I do remember them hanging out in some of the buildings sometimes. That must be what i was thinking of.
[adrotate group="5"]I feel like this entire season i am going to be questioning. Is that Regina or the Evil Queen pretending to be Regina? They need to come up with a code word. Though who knows when they are going to realize that the Evil Queen isn’t dead. Though she has never been known to be subtle.

It is that balloon crash landing set thing most likely. This might be the Count of Monte Cristo. We know he shows up later. I have never read the book, but there was a balloon that he made a grand entrance in in the movie. Then the whole bitter draught title has to do with a quote from the book. I think that fits.
I think you are just giving these writer too much credit. They don’t know how to write. They think that the relationship between Emma and Hook is romantic because kids scream about it on the internet. I am not denying your critical analysis, i am saying that the writers aren’t thinking about any of that. The writers think they can have a character do anything, from murder to rape, and then have the characters stop doing that for five minutes and then they should be welcomed with open arms by their would be murder victims. That is literally what has happened on this show.
The writers think they are writing complexity by having characters do bad things and then not do bad things, not good things, but not bad things. They think that is some sort of deep, complex, redemption story. Regina has only this season done any work on trying to talk through some of her issues and ask forgiveness of her father and yet we are supposed to believe that she has been redeemed for three seasons.
I think it is possible that a good writer could do what you are suggesting. That they could write this complex bad boyfriend storyline. I just don’t think these writers are good. I just don’t think that is what is happening here. I think that the writers are writing this horrible relationship, where Hook, a serial killer, a rapist, someone who has said some of the worst things possible to Emma, caused her family to be in real danger, as a romance. The writers think that the characters can do or say whatever they want and as long as the other character then forgives them, they hug and kiss, that it’s fine. That is what the writers think. If Regina can be part of the family in this show then anyone can.
This is 604. So it seems like 601 is ensemble with Regina, 602 is Snowing, 603 is Emma, 604 is Rumpel. We will see, i guess. I am still not sure if they know how to focus on the core characters.
