ParticipantI would love Mary Poppins. I think i would rather they do side characters though in stories. Like Burt from Mary Poppins or Cinderella’s step sister or the Artful Dodger or the children of known characters. I just don’t really know how far they are going to go into things, so we will see. I do think that by sitting in the diner in the Underworld means they are going to do something Dickens like, but we will see, i guess.
They used to do that better though, just a character here and there from a story, the Hatter, Jiminy Cricket, and twist the stories.

ParticipantIt’s funny because Emma never even used the information Hook sent to her. Zelena found out about Hades weakness from Hades himself. So Hook didn’t really do anything.

ParticipantRobin.

ParticipantIt is going to be even more annoying then just Hook being alive if after all this Robin is also just alive. At least kill one of them.

ParticipantYeah, people kept pretending that the scene was blocked, so they must have got engaged. Yeah, right.

ParticipantThat looks really bad. I usually give ABC family shows a chance, but wow, i don’t know about that.

ParticipantWhat happened was that people hated Emma and Snow being separated from the rest of the group, they hated it immediately. That is why Emma and Snow came back mid season. That had nothing to do with Hook or getting Neverland. Then Colin broke his leg and disappeared from the show for a few episodes, he was tied up somewhere in New York. Then they got the rights to Neverland really late in the season. They moved up Cora’s death which was supposed to be the finale, changed the anti magic cult to being Pan’s minions, and then added Hook into the fail safe plot that came out of nowhere and made no sense. They did not have the rights to Neverland early in the season. They did not intend or desire to bring Hook into the first season regardless of what lies they say about it now. They liked the Peter Pan story, but just as much as any of the other stories they did. When they pitched the show Hook wasn’t even a thought.
Also, why does any of that matter? Hook was not part of the plan, but he is Emma’s love interest now. People who like Hook get that, they don’t get that it was part of the plan, because it wasn’t.

ParticipantI actually think if the writers were more honest with what was going to happen then it would go better for them. This keep watching, wait and see, nonsense really is frustrating. Them pretending that someone is not going to die or whatever they are doing. They just shouldn’t do any of that. They shouldn’t talk about the future episodes and they shouldn’t lie to their audience. They just shouldn’t pretend like a character is going to come back when they aren’t. When Neal died they should have just said he died instead of keep watching, wait and see, sending pictures of doors. They are doing the same stuff with Robin and they shouldn’t.

ParticipantI think the writers thought they needed a death because the show has no stakes, nothing that happens really matters. Robin isn’t connected to the group in any significant way that matters, so he can easily be cut out and it won’t really matter. Also, they are trying to pretend that Zelena is good now and they probably didn’t want the man she rapped hanging around not wanting her to be around their baby.

ParticipantThey always say they are going to do stuff with Snow and Charming in the next season, then they do something for the first two episodes and then they are thrown out the window again. They are never back to what they should be.
