ParticipantIs MRJ going to survive the season on the show he is going to be on? How major of a character is he going to be? I know nothing about that.

ParticipantWhat did Hook do?

ParticipantIs the top of the library Emma and Hook’s new special place? Remember how you almost jumped to your death just to see if i would save you? How romantic.

ParticipantI know a lot of people seem to think the show has gone too far to bring him back. But first and foremost, Neal can be the dad Henry never got. That relationship would be so sweet and needed to maybe develop Henry’s character a little bit as well. Secondly, if Hook ends up being out of the picture by the end of this arc, Neal not only becomes more important in Henry’s life, but also Emma’s. And I don’t think it would be out of the realm of possibility for old feelings to start to crop up if Neal ends up sticking around and being a father to Henry. And then there’s the whole Rumple dynamic. What would it mean to have his son back? I know we have seen this song and dance before, but could this finally be the thing that let’s Rumple let go of his power? I can imagine if you lose your son, and then he somehow is returned to you, that would make you rethink things finally and possibly let go of the darkness for good this time. So Neal being back on a more permanent basis would give more substance for Henry, more complications with Emma, and a possible end for Rumple redemption. I disagree with most on this I guess. I think if done well, they could absolutely integrate Neal back into the show and it could be quite beautiful. But I don’t think Neal and Hook could coexist.
I actually don’t think you disagree with most people on this. I think most people think that Neal could easily be reintegrated into the show and would add a lot of depth to multiple characters. I think that most people just think there is pretty much no chance that that will ever happen. I like Neal. MRJ was one of the best actors on this show. I think there is no chance at all they will bring him back and keep him on the show.

ParticipantI don’t know. I think the evidence is mounting that Neal is appearing is some (probably lackluster and illogical) capacity. I need to start preparing for that.
I know. It really does take mental preparation. It is like how bad could a scene with Neal be. It could be offensive and revolting or it could be something nice yet depressing. I just don’t want to deal with it anymore. There is no really good that comes from it anymore with scenes with Neal. It is like just stop, don’t make it worse. If they succeed in not making it worse then that will be a triumph for them.

ParticipantThe only reason i think he probably isn’t filming is because i think that they would have told us MRJ was filming if he was. I think not seeing him out and about is meaningless because we see so little of what they actually film. We might see two or three scenes from an entire episode. The only reason we knew he filmed at the end of Season 3 was because he told us he did on twitter.

ParticipantI hope all the Camelot people are gone. They were much worse then even the Queens of darkness. They were all just very unlikable. Though they could bring Merlin back if they ever do anything with the evil fairies. I know that they said that the Blue Fairy couldn’t know Merlin, but there is no reason that she can’t be older then him. Merlin could even have been running from evil fairies when he found the cup. I hate it when i think about what the show should do for five minutes and then realize that whatever they do will be boring compared. I am sick of them going from one disney cartoon to the next.

ParticipantIt is so hard. I want Neal to be back on the show. But that’s the problem. I want Neal to be back on the show. I don’t want him to be in an episode where he tells everyone to move on. His dad, Emma, Henry. I don’t want to see that at all. I would rather he never be back on the show again then have to sit through that vomit.
I liked his flashback scene though with Emma on the carnival swings for their drink, so if they did something like that i would be okay with that. But no moving on scenes. Either have him back on the show again as a regular or a reoccurring or just let him not be on the show ever again. I don’t really see the point anymore.

ParticipantYeah, that is what it seems like. I wonder if the dead characters will haunt the main characters as in appear and disappear. I keep thinking that Hook is there, but not quite there. What are the details of him filming? Are those scenes being hidden or is he shown interacting with the other characters? Maybe it won’t be like that though because we see characters walking around, waiting in line, helping kids cross the road, running Gold’s shop, being the mayor, sort of mundane things.
Though it may just be like with Emma keeping away from everyone in 5A. Hook doesn’t want Emma to help him, so he is staying away. If Milah is forced to be a crossing guard then Hook should have something like that happening to him as well for all of his evil which was much greater then Milah’s. There is the suggestion though that this is just the main characters perspective of the Underworld, which is problematic writing, but this is Ouat.

ParticipantOh, you are right. I keep forgetting about him being there. Them being stuck in the Underworld seems like such a stupid plot. I guess we will see what is really going on.
