Maybe her life was bad enough that she thinks better cursed not aging then this though honestly i think that Regina would have killed Emma if she had found her there.
[adrotate group="5"]To actually answer the question of what i thought about this episode though is to say it was just okay for me. There were things i liked, but there was a lot of annoying in this episode. Which is bad for a first episode i think. They need to be good. I think they need to do better then this. Having Snow and Emma in fairytale land is at least interesting. Hopefully things will be more interesting in Storybrooke though at this moment i doubt that because i don’t really care what is going on there.

But they weren’t flashes into an alternate reality. They weren’t. That was why Desmond was so at peace near the end of the last season. You know how his power was that his mind would move through time and he would see bits and peaces of his future and his past. So he was at peace because he had popped into their futures and seen them all together their in the afterlife. That was the real and true future in the afterlife of all of the characters. They were attempting to imply throughout the season that it was an alternate reality, but it was not. It was the future for those characters.
In ONCE the Enchanted Forest is actually another reality.
I think it is quite certain that Rumpel did not know they would not be able to leave town. I think after Charming leaves his shop Rumpel is going to bust open that case in anger because he can’t leave town. I think Rumpel thought he would be able to and he was wrong.
I think Regina was lying and Emma knew it, but decided not to call her on it because really what’s the point.
But the flash sideways were not actually flash sideways into another world. There were flash forward into their life after death. The producers just called them that because they were trying to keep it a secret the fact that they were actually flash forwards into those characters future. These on ONCE are actually flash sideways into another world.
I hope so too. I think that sometimes they blame the victim a bit too much. Clearly it is Rumpel and Regina’s fault completely for the wraith and the curse, but Snow is there and they are not. I am hoping that they are about to get vouched for as well.
The flash forwards were called flash sideways in LOST, but these actually seem like flash sideways because it is present day in fairytale land. It seems to be around the same time after Emma came to Storybrooke and started time moving again.
I don’t think we have heard about a counterpart for any of the characters in fairytale land present which is why i thought they were going to be in like fairytale land past so that there counterparts would all be older. I thought that eventually Emma would go to fairytale land, but i did not think it would happen so soon.
