ONCE - Once Upon a Time podcast
Reviews, theories, and talk about ABC's Once Upon a Time TV show
There has to be a way for them to get home in the present time. Though, they haven’t discussed any timeline issues in the show. Characters are just the wrong ages and they are pretending it is normal, so even though the producers said that, that doesn’t make it actually true on the show.
That promo seems really spoilerish too.
Lucy doesn’t have her memories. She just believes that Henry is her dad because of the book.
I don’t think it is just a farewell party or they would have said that.
I agree. It is extremely odd they are using cursed names. It is like them calling Snow, Mary Margaret, for way too long. It is impossible to understand how stuff like that is still happening. Hopefully, it is just press release weirdness.
It really is unfortunate that this show no longer has a lead. It is all just random whatever going on. I just don’t care about these characters. The old regulars and Henry and Ella barely have any focus.</p>
I even want to care about Robin, but what do we know about her and the acting had just been eh. And Drizzela who has at least been interesting seems to be dead. Like what is going on here?
They are cancelled and this is why.
There is a difference between things that can happen and things that should. They could have real Hook in fairytale clothes. They could have him interact with Zelena. They shouldn’t do any of that because it doesn’t make sense and real Hook is done.
They shouldn’t have ever shown Storybrooke again though and fake Hook should not exist, but this show is terribly written, so stuff like that does happen. It shouldn’t though.
Emma’s story is very much over and done with. I think that the point that Hook is wearing fairytale gear instead of the stuff that real Hook wears now, is a really good point. Also, there is no way this is way before Lucy is born because that just doesn’t work. At the most it is five years before Lucy became the age she is now.
I think it makes no sense at all to show real Hook. Having Alice’s dad and Robyn’s mom interact makes sense even if they are just random leftover characters now. That is the show, after all. It also would be nice if Alice and Robyn have some history.
It is such a bad idea to show Storybrooke because all anyone is going to be hoping for is that they just show Emma and Snow. The writers are so ridiculous. Also, if this is supposed to be real Hook, which it now seems like, he should not be interacting with Zelena at all.
Seriously, the timeline is shot to bits. These writers are terrible. Timeline does actually matter.
My point is that, in my opinion, what the writers say about the show cannot be used as proof when discussing what happened on the show. The writers are frequently wrong.
